Monday Greyhounds Tips: Trap2Line picks three from Nottingham

Our resident Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line (@Trap2line1) is back to kick off another week with three selections, with all of them coming from Nottingham.

Here are your Monday Greyhounds Tips.

T5 (Rioja Oisin) 20:19 Nottingham @ SP

My pick for the outright winner in this comp, has only ever lost 1 competitive race and is blessed with trapping and early pace. Landed the scurry cup recently at Perry Barr and warmed up for this with a couple of trial stakes victories, also had a trail over course and distance to be ready for this event.

How I see tonight’s race going, poor heat in the context of who’s in this competition so I expect a ping break, massive pace up and clear away from these, not many times I expect a dog to win by multiple lengths but this could be 5+ lengths we win by tonight, will be short but one to combine in doubles and trebles.

T3 (Bramble Linton) 20:01 Nottingham @ SP

We recently won the Grand Prix up at Sunderland where we showed exceptional early pace, prior to that we raced against a lot of this competitions field at Perry Barr in the scurry cup only to be done by a bad draw in the final. More at home out of a middle box which we get today.

How I see this race going, I don’t see anymore than us trapping smartly, pacing up and going around in front, we have 4 bend form so if we lead anytime in this race it’s game over, this first round isn't loaded with pace and we will face stronger rivals next week but a trial of 17.68 stands is in good stead for the outright tournament.

T6 (Ballinabola Bill) 19:44 Nottingham @ SP

Trialled in well here last week, has been pitched in with last years winner but recent times suggest T3 has it all to do having lost its rails draw. We are a decent opener racer at Swindon over two and four bends and seems to have a good draw to work from tonight.

How I do see this race going, T3 will be turning left at trap rise and will be heading to the rails so that means crowding for the inside runners, T4 has decent times but is better suited to Romford's 225m, T5 a hove raider who isn't quite up to this class in my personal opinion. So I see us pacing up and clearing this field at the first bend, then going on to win well.
