Monday Greyhound Tips: Keep an eye on the Road at Doncaster

It's the start of a brand new week and our resident greyhound tipster, Michael Smyth (bettingjungle), is here to cast his eye over the day's action across the UK. He's drawn to the action taking place at Doncaster and he's picked out what he considers to be the three best bets available.

1 pt 15:22 Doncaster – On The Wall (T6) @ SP

Following on from a weekend of top-class action, we swiftly move onto to graded racing from Doncaster with three selections on an ultra-competitive card. At 15:22, look out for well-drawn wide seed ON THE WALL, who lines up from T6.

A recent open race winner over course and distance in 29.91, On The Wall surprisingly drops into graded company this afternoon, and it's an ease in class he can take advantage of and record another victory at the Yorkshire venue.

As ever, the key to the race will be the break and run into the first bend. If On The Wall gets it right at the boxes and leads round this could be all over bar the shouting by the third bend.

Stoneparkfortune (T5) will be staying on well and could be worth including in forecast bets. Grouchos Bonnie (T4) is another capable of winning from off the pace and would be a danger to all if within striking distance off the final bend.

1 pt 16:37 Doncaster – Reenaderry Road (T6) @ SP

The B1 graded race at 16:37 over the four-bend 450-metre trip at Doncaster can go to REENADERRY ROAD from T6. The Susan Watson-trained wide seed has an impressive eight from nineteen record in the grade and looks well-drawn this afternoon to win again.

On the bunny, the August 2023 son of Serene Ace is capable of clocking around the 27.65 mark, a repeat of that would see him take this by two or three lengths. Clona Chief rates as the main danger from T4.

Better known as an open race performer in recent months, the early-paced railer would be a huge runner if he brings his trapping boots and gets it right at the boxes. Magical Boss (T2) will be staying on well and looks a solid forecast option in the race.

1 pt 17:14 Doncaster – Calgray Flyer (T1) @ SP

The third and final selection from Doncaster is CALGRAY FLYER, who lines up from T1 in the B5 graded race at 17:14 over the four-bend 450-metre distance.

The Shaun Birks-trained railer has a chance to hold his pitch into the first bend and if that happens and the October 2022 son of Magical Bale leads round and skips a couple clear, he will prove hard to peg back.

Lightly raced Flosses Versace (T3) is in flying form with two wins in his last three races and is likely to prove popular in the market. Debutant Good Louise (T5) is worth noting in the market, significant support would hint that a big run is expected from the December 2024 youngster.

Don’t rule out wide seed Posh Scart from T6. In a competitive race, the wide seed has solid claims.
