Monday Greyhounds Tips: Two sizzlers from Sunderland this afternoon

T4 (Matt's Bomber) 14:29 Sunderland @ SP

Top grade contest this afternoon and our selection impressed me latest when nearly catching our pick on the run-in. After being held up we showed all sorts of pace out of the second bend to nearly chase home the winner.

Looking at today's race I see this being easier as there is nothing with our level of form.

How I see the the race panning out - T1 recently came back from a layoff and did win well in a lower grade but the time doesn't compete with us.

T2 is a very slow starter has one really quick time in an A2 but overall, times are disappointing. T3 to me is our main danger, has good early but I just think that early will draw us out. If we turn on the shoulder of T3 I only see one winner.

T5 won two A2's in the last couple of weeks but in times way below what we can record, and is not for me. T6 could be dangerous as drawn and if the race crowds up can come into it; but I can't see a crowded race and I see us in T4 being overall too quick for these opponents.

T3 (Canya Wildcat) 16:22 Sunderland @ SP

A crucial grade drop for us here from A1 to A2 and this race sets up perfectly for us to pace up and lead from the start. The make-up suits our running style and class will bring us through.

How I see the race going - T1 we have backed before but slow starts recently have been costing him in his races, and I see the same happening again this afternoon.

T2 looks to be running through the motions recently, no real worthwhile form to catch my eye and looking at split times we should easily lead her.

T4 is an early-pace type but we have the inside draw on this runner and should pace up inside him at the bend. It's been well supported recently but unable to land the money.

T5 is a slow starter and will struggle to get competitive in this race, while T6 drops a grade as well today, but again slow starts are her Achilles heel.

All in all we break well, pace up and lead clear by the bend, stretch away and win well. Max bet for me.
