Monday Greyhounds Tips: Trap2Line picks out his best bets

Our man Trap2Line, is back with his greyhound tips for Monday, April 28.

We're off to Sunderland and Yarmouth for today's selections - read all about them and their chances below.

14:29 Sunderland - Deadly Jet (T6) @ SP

Our pick will have acres of space on the outside, and this will be like a solo trial.

How I see the race panning out this afternoon - T1 has struggled in this grade previously and I think the same will happen again today. Their running style needs plenty of luck at the bend and the make-up of this race doesn't suit the inside.

T2 will be coming into the rails so I see crowding between both inside runners ruining both their chances. T3 does have the odd ping in him, case in point two runs back where he came out under the bars, but they're normally average away and I see that today.

T4 will be wanting T3's running lane on the run up so expect him to shift a tad to the left, which may ruin T3's chances as well as his own.

T5 doesn't want to be this far out. So, we have great form and pace, lots of room on the run up and at first bend.

18:14 Yarmouth - Skirk Bolger (T1) @ SP

Recent purchase from Irish sales, had a good A2 win at Shelbourne before arriving on these shores. There's lots of early pace, and that will stand us in good stead as we are the only early paced type in this A5.

T2 dropping through the grades like a lead balloon, was recently running in A2 had just over a month off and has come back but currently running poorly, will give us lots of room on the inside with him being slow to go.

T3 will be moving off as drawn, another going down the grades instead of climbing them, really think this runner will be turning right out the traps and taking a more mid to wide line up to first bend, which will mean crowding for all runners on her right.

T4's room will be at a premium with T3 coming over more a six-bend type, so will need a crowded race to figure tonight, but I personally can't see that.

T5 again running poorly in the grade and T6 has just come up from A6 but not really been competitive in three runs in A5.

So back to us in T1 - this is as far as we want to go and we will be coming back to the field on the run in but should have enough in the tank to hold on.
