Monday Greyhounds Tips: Two great chances to start the week

A new week on the Greyhound scene - and as ever it's over to our resident expert Trap2Line for his thoughts on Monday, January 27.

Today's Greyhound Odds

20:31 Yarmouth T2 (Sober Days)

Been really well supported all three runs here and has gone off favourite each time but as of yet hasn't fulfilled his promise since arriving here from Kilkenny. Looks to have a good make up in this tonight to finally get off the mark and go on to better things, and climb the grades in the next few weeks.

How I see tonight's race going - key to our contest is T1 and the fact that it's notoriously slowly into stride - and that will suit us perfectly as we can quickly claim the rails. Thereafter I'm hoping we can go around unscathed and use our middle pace to open up down the back.

In all races so far we have been a little weak coming home but tonight I see us being too far clear to be picked up. I did actually see T1 as the main danger to maybe get us late if we get held up at all, but I don't see that and all I see is a trap to line victory.

Something a bit different now; we drop to an A7 here and on paper this looks a very weak contest but looking over our recent form and back form we can and should easily land this.

Key will be being able to post a time sub-32 seconds which we defiantly have in our locker; and can show that from a favourable draw tonight.

How I see this race going - we have a solid and clear run ahead being the only wide seed and drawn outside a very slow starter so I see us being prominent throughout.

T2 landed a handicap latest but prior to that we was giving that runner a three-meter start and tonight off levels I can't see T2 getting involved. What I see is a lead if not turning 2nd at the first bend and having the overall pace and power to land this race by a few lengths.

Of course if we get held up or miss the break in any race it could be difficult but we tick too many boxes in this for me to ignore. Confident pick.
