Monday Greyhounds Tips: Two to watch from Nottingham and Sunderland

Our resident Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line is back with two picks for his Monday Greyhounds Tips to start off the week.

His selections come from Sunderland and Nottingham and, as always, you can find his reasoning below.

15:26 Sunderland - Allowdale Bono (T6) @ SP

Returns to handicap company this afternoon, and on paper looks to be 'thrown in' when you sit down and work out the figures. Looks to have an above average opportunity in this race.

Of course, first of all you need a clear run and in handicaps you aren't always guaranteed one, but the make-up of this race works out well for us. We are giving T1 18m and on all form T1 will be the outsider and looks to have little chance in this.

T2's overall times aren't quick enough to figure in this in a clean run race, and T3's the only wide seed and we give her 9m - her form is on A8 and we are a solid A4 performer. T4 has been on and off the card and will struggle to land a blow in this from her current mark. T5 will be the danger but we are giving him 2m start which isn't far enough. As long as we stay out of trouble and challenge at the right times I feel we can go away and win this impressively.

20:01 Nottingham - Breton Molly (T2) @ SP

Really good open race stayer at a variety of tracks and distances, and last week broke the 43 seconds barrier for the 712m at Towcester which is a solid effort. This evening, we are having our first run over the course and distance but the calibre of rivals isn't as strong as what we'd normally fac, and I do see a very easy victory ahead.

This race maybe over within the first 20 yards when we pace up and clear all the runners - if we do that, I can't see anything in the race coming from behind us, in fact if we do get clear this will basically turn into a one dog tria. The bonus also is if we don't end up leading early with have enough about us to back run these with our all round pace. I am very confident of a impressive victory.
