Monday Greyhound Tips: Three to watch from Doncaster to start the week

Our Greyhound tipster, Michael Smyth (@bettingjungle), has turned to Doncaster for all three of his Monday selections.

1 pt 15:29 Doncaster – Keefill Storm (T1) @ SP

A case of seconditis yesterday at Towcester, with Garfiney Warrior (3/1) and Ballymac Kobe (7/1) both finding one too good. Today, we head to Doncaster looking to get back on the winning trail. At 15:29 look out for well-drawn railer KEEFILL STORM, who lines up from T1 in the B4 graded race over the four-bend 450-metre trip.

Sent off at 11/8, 6/5 and 4/5 in recent weeks, Keefill Storm has clearly been fancied in the market, but two seconds and a fourth-placed effort means supporters haven’t collected recently. This afternoon, if the September 2023 son of Droopys Addition traps well, he can hold his pitch into the corner.

If that happens, he can kick for home off the second bend and prove hard to beat. Moss Cash (T2) will be staying on well and can fill the forecast spot. Telex Empress (T6) is well-drawn as the solo wide seed in the race and rates as a danger.

The D2-graded race at 16:26 over the two-bend 275-metre trip can go to VINEGARHILL CASH from T5.

The Susan Watson-trained performer has proven expensive to follow of late with defeats at 11/8, 4/5 & 10/11, prior to those runs the November 2023 son of Ballymac Cashout won by a short head over course and distance clocking 17.35 when leading late on to catch Skirk Mia who attempted to make all.

Today, Crystal Bale (T4) looks the likely leader but if Vinegarhill Cash turns on her tail, it's race on. Calgary Risk (T1) has a zero out of five record in the grade but is worth noting in the market from what looks like a plot draw with T2 vacant.

Mahomes (T3) is a consistent D2 performer and could be worth including in forecast bets if sent off at fancy prices.

Draws win races and DEVISTA has a cracker to work from in the B1 graded race at 17:54 over the four-bend 450-metre trip.

Plotted up as the solo wide seed and with a vacant box on his inside in T5, the Samantha Lapidge-trained March 2023 son of Pestana looks like a strong bet this afternoon. In recent weeks, Devista has kept good company running in open class and invitation races over course and distance. Devista will appreciate this ease in grade, and it's one he can take advantage of and record a victory for his connections.

Magical Boss (T2) will be staying on well and would be a danger to all if within striking distance off the final bend. Put Things Right (T1) will attempt to make all from his rails pitch and has a chance if he skips a couple clear down the back straight.
