Monday Greyhound Tips: Down to Donny for some delightful dogs

1 pt 14:44 Doncaster – Cushie Mick (T4) @ SP

Two from three at Hove yesterday with Classic Piper and Yassoo Mell both winning in impressive fashion. Today, we head to Doncaster with three selections on a competitive all-graded card. At 14:44 look out for CUSHIE MICK from the Susan Watson kennel. The lightly raced September 2023 son of Ballyhimikin Jet is five from ten around Doncaster and looks well-drawn this afternoon to lead round and make all.

This race is all about the break. It's imperative that Mick traps well and hits the back straight a couple clear, do that, and he’ll prove hard to peg back. Grouchos Bonnie (T3) stays on well and could be worth including in forecast bets. Snowfall (T5) is another who will be looking to mount a challenge off the final bend and would be a live danger if within striking distance.

1 pt 16:37 Doncaster – Slaneyside Jan (T5) @ SP

The D3 graded sprint at 16:37 over the two-bend 275-metre trip can go to SLANEYSIDE JAN from T5. The Ricky Overton-trained July 2023 daughter of Superior Panama is a consistent performer in this grade and looks well-drawn this afternoon to lead round make all to record her seventh victory in D3 company. As ever, it's all eyes on the break. Jan needs to trap well and hit the front early on; she can’t afford a tardy exit in a competitive graded race.

Hes Batman (T2) is an interesting runner on Doncaster debut. The former Towcester and Suffolk Downs-based runner is worth noting in the market and major support could prove significant. Ballymac Gail looks a solid forecast mixer in the race from T4.

1 pt 17:59 Doncaster - Grouchos Links (T3) @ SP

The third and final selection from Doncaster this afternoon is GROUCHOS LINKS, who lines up from T3 in the B7 graded race at 17:59 over the four-bend 450-metre trip. In recent weeks, Grouchos Links has mixed it in two and four-bend action, winning two of her last four runs. Today, if the August 2024 pup brings her trapping boots and leads round, she could find herself a couple clear out of the second bend and half a dozen clear by the third bend.

Redbrick Whitney (T5) is a solid B7 performer and looks the solid forecast option in the race. Skilled Warrior (T1) has slipped through the grades in recent weeks and is an interesting runner. On his best form, he would bolt up in this company. The money is shrewd at Doncaster; major support should be noted.
