Friday Greyhounds Tips: Trap2Line’s two from Towcester

Our resident Greyhounds tipsterTrap2Line shares a couple of interests from Towcester on Friday evening.

20:39 Towcester - Droopys Pivotel (T2) @ SP

We come here after flying round in a quick 15.50 trial over 270m, which ought to have put us spot on for this.

T3 is the main danger to the selection. They're really consistent and with an inside draw I may have put this one up. There's lots to like about their two trials in preparation for this derby, breaking 29 seconds on one occasion, and a repeat of that will bring him close.

The Yarmouth raider in T4 looks up against it and wouldn't be form me, while the Irish runner in T6 needs to find plenty of improvement in my book. T1 is the likely rank outsider and looks one to make up the numbers.

I'm very hopeful Droopys Pivotel will be hard to peg back if getting an early lead. Confident pick.

Comes here after a gutsy trial win, during which things didn't go his way. Still, he managed to get up when it mattered.

Pitched in against the fence at Towcester on Friday and he should make a bold bid.

T2 is an Irish rival who warmed up for this with more trials at Hove than here, which is strange. He'll have to improve around five to six lengths on times to get involved.

For me, T3 is the main danger. We beat them over six bends at Hove recently and I think we're blessed with more early speed, so hopefully we can shoot clear and stay in front.

T4 is all about early speed, but their overall times are, on average, not as quick as ours - while T6 is a Monmore grader that doesn't look up to this class.

The way I see this going is a quick start out of the traps, tracking the likely pace-setter out of T4 round the first couple of bends before we take it up down the back and kick on.
