Friday Greyhound Tips: Romford is all the rage

Romford is where the racing is at on Friday, and we've got our resident greyhound tipster, Michael Smyth (bettingjungle), here to deliver his three best bets from the day's action.

1 pt 19:33 Romford – Laugh Alot (T5) @ SP

All eyes on the London Road circuit Romford this evening with 12 open races taking place over a variety of distances.

At 19:33, look out for LAUGH ALOT, who lines up from T5 in the March On Freddie At Stud open race over the four-bend 400-metre trip.

Yarmouth raider Laugh Alot is blessed with blistering early pace and was in flying form early this year with a number of wins over 388 metres at Suffolk Downs.

Off the track from mid-April until mid-May, the October 2021 daughter of Pestana has returned to action at her home track in top form, winning in A2 company and then caught late on last time out in top A1 grade over 462 metres. The drop to 400 metres will suit and, with a ping break, she will prove hard to beat.

Undergroundnicky will be staying on well from T1 and could be a decent forecast mixer in the race along with improving youngster March On Millie from T2.

1 pt 20:33 Romford – Always Wrighty (T1) @ SP

The Romford Friday Night 500 final at 20:33 can go to the John Mullins-trained railer ALWAYS WRIGHTY from T1. The Towcester raider bolted up over this four-bend 400 metre course and distance last week, clocking 24.00 following a smart 3.61 sectional. A repeat of that would make her tough to peg back this evening.

The key, as ever, will be the break and run into the first bend. It's imperative that Wrighty holds the rails and hits the back straight on the bunny.

Rockmount Kellie (T3) has plenty of sprint form on her card and would be a danger to all if she brings her trapping boots. The Paul Young-trained railer Yahoo Mareike (T4) is a consistent Romford performer who will be looking to make all. She's another in with live claims.

1 pt 21:13 Romford – Aayamza Legend (T6) @ SP

The third and final selection from Romford this evening is AAYAMZA LEGEND, who runs from T6 in the Friday Night 500 Stayers final over the six-bend 575-metre trip. Capable of clocking around the 35.10-mark, Aayamza Legend is a class act over this course and distance and with a ping break this should be all over bar the shouting.

It is, however, a very competitive race, so Aayamza Legend can’t afford a tardy exit from the boxes. If the well-drawn wide seed does miss it, this is a wide-open race with plenty in with chances.

Aero Pepinillo (T1) and Izzys Tenpin (T2) both go into the race with live claims on the rails along with Yarmouth raider Gothic Abbess (T3) who impressed over course and distance last time out leading at the fourth bend before powering clear of the chasing pack.

Improving youngster Hollys Belle (T4) made all in the heats of this competition and will be looking to do the same again this evening.
