Friday Greyhounds Tips: Two selections from Sunderland

Trap2Line time, dear reader. He's off on his travels to Sunderland for Friday's picks; a couple of railers he's expecting to be ultra-competitive tonight.

20:37 Sunderland - Marlfield Fiona (T1) @ SP

Very interesting runner here, had a good trial last week. Had been running and winning at Pelaw and tonight has an exceptional chance as drawn.

T2 is a danger being a very solid local runner, will edge slightly right on the run up and give us some room to pace up and force our way round the first bend.

T3 not a sprinter and will struggle here tonight, in my opinion. T4 could be a danger but split times at Pelaw could mean trouble getting a clear run at the bend.

T5 again, not a sprinter so could struggle. T6 graded-runner not up to this class really and will be an outsider tonight.

20:56 Sunderland - Sunnyside Jayden (T5) @ SP

This is the final of the dual distance competition and looking over the sprint races going into tonight, I feel we have the strongest form and best draw to work with.

T1 held every chance last week and couldn't quite get to T2, but will be better over this distance looking at her form at Pelaw.

T2 was a winner last week but overall four-bend form is poor. T3 is the main danger to us but I can't see him clearing the inside runners and could crowd on the run up.

T4 will be edging left at trap rise and going to crowd up T3 at least but that could have a knock on effect to the other inside runners.

T6 not as quick as T1 at Pelaw and will struggle tonight, in my opinion.
