Friday Greyhounds Tips: Trap2Line’s Friday Treble

Our main man has given his Greyhound Tips for Friday, November 15 as he tips up two dogs, one running in Sunderland and one in Romford. Read on to find out more.

T5 (Tonelagee) - 21:48 Sunderland @ SP

Grade open race 450m

Recently Tonelagee was knocked out of the classic when they stumbled out of the traps and lost all chance, before then and since then they have broke the 27 second barrier in trials so the pace is there and tonight I make this a match between Tonelagee and Trap 1.

How I see tonight’s race going: no real pace in Trap 4 and Trap 6 so I expect us to lead those early, Trap 1 on video evidence here doesn’t want to be in Trap 1 and will be more moving middle on the run up so I expect crowding inside. If/when that happens that will help us greatly and will help us clear at the bend and go in front. What I wouldn’t want to happen is Trap 1 going around clear on the inner and turning a length behind us as that is strong. But I see the race as I’ve mentioned and I think we win this tonight.

T1 (Missouri Dove) 22:04 Sunderland @ SP

Grade A6 450m

Downgrade tonight helps us massively as Missouri Dove has been in with a lot quicker greyhounds than they face tonight. They have broken 28 seconds recently and that weighed up against its rivals' times stands out.

How I see tonight’s race going: I personally make this a 100m sprint between our pick and Trap 2. The key will be leading that dog in the early stages on split times averaged out we just about do that. We aren’t going to lead but I feel we can follow the pace in Trap 3 round the first two bends, our middle pace is good and I do see us taking this up off the last and win going away. Confident selection.

T2 (Droopys Dreamy) 21:46 Romford @ SP

Grade S2 575m

Steps back up in trip tonight from 400m to 575m, Droopys Dreamy has yet to translate our four-bend speed to this extended distance but has a really good make up tonight. 

How I see tonight’s race going: With Trap 1 being off the card for a while this is a gilt-edged opportunity to lead up the inner and clear at the bend and avoid trouble in behind. If we lead anytime in this we stretch clear and win by multiple lengths. Should be a decent price tonight.
