Friday Greyhounds Tips: Romford lovin’ on Valentine’s

Our resident Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line went two-for-two in his Thursday Greyhounds Tips and he returns on Valentine's Day hoping for more success.

His two Friday Greyhounds Tips come from Romford - let's hope there's as much love for us at this track as there was at Newcastle yesterday.

20:01 Romford - Brindley Bully (T6) @ SP

We return to home soil this evening after being on our travels at Sunderland and again at Towcester; also we have had a spell on the sidelines and are currently running ourselves back into race fitness. We have had a couple of trails and one race to blow away the cobwebs, so I see us having a good makeup in this race and we can use that to go to victory.

How I see the race panning out: T5 drawn quite far out is more a true middle runner so that will be edging in at trap rise giving us lots of space to pace up on the outer being the sole wide seed. T4 has hit form but could have minus ground early with the T5 coming across and T3 edging out so I can see crowding between the middle runners. T2 moves back inside after being in T5 last week and will also be involved in the inside skirmishing.

T1 to me is our main danger as drawn. I see us missing the trouble and clearing away at the bend before going on for an impressive victory.

21:11 Romford - Innfield Fifi (T4) @ SP

Troubled run latest and stopped at nearly every bend after a very slow beginning, caught the eye with her all-round pace and I put her firmly on my notebook for her next run. Not as competitive a race as last week and we can benefit from a better beginning and can show our true colours granted a clear run.

How I see the race going: T1 crowded the first bend latest and ran on from there, time was nothing special but does have a good draw on the inside. T2 won on debut over course and distance last week but I expected a lot quicker time once he led. T3 beat us last week but the race went her way and will be our main danger this evening.

T5 slowly away and will be outpaced throughout this, T6 grader is outclassed in this tonight. I see us getting a better run early and turning anywhere near the pace it will be our race to lose.
