Wednesday Greyhound Tips: Bubbly Blackbird can soar in Romford

1 pt 19:11 Romford – Bubbly Blackbird (T3) @ SP

Three from the London Road circuit Romford this evening on a competitive all-graded card. At 19:11, look out for the Paul Young-trained railer BUBBLY BLACKBIRD, who runs from T3 in the A12 graded race over the standard four-bend 400-metre trip. The August 2022 son of Bubbly Bluebird drops into A12 company for the first time and it's an ease in grade he can take advantage of and record his first win since early January.

Last time out, over course and distance, Bubbly Blackbird hit the front at the third bend but was narrowly beaten in a photo finish. Tonight, if he gets it right at the boxes and avoids an early bump, Blackbird can lead round and make all. Wide seeds Don Rodrigo (T5) and Notorious Sue (T6) both enter calculations and have live claims, especially with ping breaks.

1 pt 20:54 Romford – Dinos Yogi (T4) @ SP

The A9 graded race at 20:54 looks ultra-competitive with Saltees Suzi (T1), Bedrock Bella (T2) and Dinos Yogi (T4) all likely to prove popular in the market. DINOS YOGI was knocked over recently when running in A8 company but has since had a course and distance trial and the 25.04 clock following a 3.86 sectional suggests all is well, and he looks a leading player this evening.

The key to this race will be clearing Brandywell Queen (T3) at lid rise. It's imperative that Dinos Yogi gets it right at the boxes and hits the back straight a couple clear. Saltees Suzi (T1) will be looking to turn handy and make her move by the third bend. The Dean Childs-trained railer would be a danger to all with a level break.

1 pt 21:28 Romford – Orange Camilla (T1) @ SP

The third and final selection from Romford this evening is ORANGE CAMILLA, who runs from T1 in the A10 graded race at 21:28. The Marlene Westwood-trained railer is often there or thereabouts at the finish, as her recent form has shown with three placed efforts and a win in her last five visits to the track. Tonight, if the October 2023 daughter of Deerjet Sydney holds her pitch into the corner and hits the back straight on the bunny, it’ll take a good one to back run her.

Public Reaction (T2) rates as the main danger. He’s another solid A10 performer and is often sent off at short odds. Lightly raced Riverside Milan (T4) is worth noting in the market on his recent to action following around 14 weeks off the track. Noreason Jess (T3) will be staying on well and could be worth including in forecast bets.
