19:33 Hove - T6 (Proper Dangeress) @ SP
Comes here on the back of a track record-setting run over the 664m trip at Central Park. When not leading was still able to set new figures for that trip. This is a bit further tonight but does provide an excellent opportunity being plotted up out wide tonight.
T1 is vacant.
T2 is very slow into stride and stays all day. If anything this 695m trip is too short and will only start to get going off the last bend. If the race becomes crowded at any point there will be nothing finishing stronger than this runner.
T3 was in good form prior to layoff in March. On the journey back but think this type of race and class has come too soon as trials haven't shown me anything. Was withdrawn last week at Oxford. This runner is best watched today.
T4 won last week despite trouble and to me offers our main danger tonight. Does possess good four-bend speed but also stayed really well last week. Can be more prominent than usual over this trip and if we don't perform, this runner will be ready to pick up the pieces.
T5 awful draw for this railer. Will 100% edge across to the left as soon as the traps rise. That could cause a knock-on effect to the runners on her inside and leave us with acres of space on the wide outside. Had this runner been drawn on the fence I would've given her a squeak. Not from a draw this wide outside and I see lots of crowding before the first bend.
So to us in T6, as you can see we have an excellent draw. Very good staying pace and all the boxes ticked tonight to add to our staying tally. We can record a wide margin victory against these lesser types. Stand out selection of the day for me.

19:49 Hove - T6 (Bombay Birch) @ SP
This dog has spent more time trialling than racing so far, so will be fresh as a daisy tonight. Having four trials in recent weeks should've made us spot on for tonight's contest. Last time out we ran a 29.30 over course and distance. Any repeat of that this evening will be good enough to earn this.
T1 is a Towcester raider and ex-Shelbourne runner. A lot was expected of this dog. They came over here as a big money purchase but is yet to live up to the hype. Does have good form back in Ireland. Since coming here in June for a trial, this dog has had two races back at Towcester with mixed results. On that form alone I don't expect this runner to get involved this evening.
T2 won at 2/7 last week but that was helped by being drawn in T1 and being able to force his way round at the bend. Not got that luxury this evening and may struggle to clear T1, I still rate this runner as a massive danger to us, but we have a better draw and race make up.
T3 is another runner that will be edging across to the rails and may come together with the inside pair. No doubt the strongest in the line up but a perilous draw in T3. If somehow can get to the first bend unscathed this runner again could be another danger to us. Looking at videos though I can't see how he will do that.
T4 will literally turn left as soon as the traps go up and I see lots of crowding on the inside already. This runner will just add to that. Bang railer at Nottingham will again look to scrape paint on the inner. This time however does have three runners on his inside which could scupper that. Not for me.
T5 I've watched in their last few races and this runner stays straight as an arrow on the run up so I'm not concerned about crowding. A couple of recent wins in A2 and A1. Final times a little off where he needs to be but is in form.
So to us in T6, plotted up out wide. We have a lot going for us this evening that all equates to an excellent chance of landing this open contest and getting us back into the winners enclosure. I see us breaking level, missing the trouble on the inside, leading by first bend and then basically stretching clear for an impressive win. Confident selection.
