16:26 Towcester DG - Crafty Prospero (T3) @ SP
CRAFTY PROSPERO has looked an exciting stayer in all four-bend races. The first time we steeped up in trip, it ended in an impressive victory, and since then we've been in against better and quicker dogs than we face this afternoon.
T1 is having their first try over the trip today. They've got sprint form, so do have experience trapping from the boxes they will be using today, but overall form isn't as good as multiple in this.
Our main danger emerges from T2. They've got a similar profile to us but is yet to win here. It's important we are with this one early - if they're allowed too big of a lead, our chances reduce.
T4 boasts a very quick 500m win here, but this is their first try over this far. Looking at split times I can see them leading. Hasn't looked an out-and-out stayer, but did record an extended (526m) win at Shelbourne before coming here. This on could run well at a price.
T5 is a consistent sort, always trying hard. But they're yet to land a blow over this trip and isn't as quick as some of these over four bends, so wouldn't be for me.
Finally, in T6 is a marathon runner I expect to find things far too quick today. Their form has tailed off recently and I just can't see them getting involved.
We're very strong in the second half of the race, so as long as we keep close to the leaders and avoid trouble round the opening bends, we have every chance of picking up the field late on.

20:34 Star Pelaw - Barnfield Duke (T4) @ SP
BARNFIELD DUKE makes his English debut tonight. The Cork winner has trialled four times over the 435m trip, showing particularly strong pace in the final two.
He was a bit weak in the finish last week against a stronger stayer, so has been dropped to this two-bend trip today. That ought to really suit.
T1 is a Central Park graded sprinter who's never been here for a look around, but did win a D2 at his home track last week. I can't see this runner getting involved tonight.
T2 isn't as good as T1 on Central Park form alone and was 11/1 for a similar race last week. Early crowding put paid to her chances and from that video I see she runs from the rails, so could crowd up with T1 early in this.
T3 is still running into form since coming back on to the card. They've been running graded sprints and will probably need to break 15 seconds to land this race. That's unlikely as far as I'm concerned.
In T5 is an ex-Newcastle runner with five trials and one race here since. He was a low grader at previous track and an outsider on first start here, which didn't go so well. I can't see him landing a blow.
Finally, T6 is a Doncaster runner who's had a look here. Will need to come on for that trial to be involved today and improve on their form at old tracks. They're likely to be one of the outsiders tonight.
We are a pup with plenty of potential, a quick sprint win at Cork on the record and plenty of attributes to be successful here. Confident choice.
