14:52 Towcester - Fabulous Livia (T2) @ SP
We were in season in July and came back onto the track early August and since then have gone from strength-to-strength over two bends, winning last two top grade sprints easily. Looks set for the step back up in trip. Prior to season was running well against some of the best four-bend runners in the country.
T1 and T4 are vacant.
T3 won two runs back in the heat of the Empress Stakes but knocked out last week when being crowded out of the race at the first bend. I see us gaining first run on what I would consider is the main danger to us and that will be crucial as this runner is no back number and will give us lots to think about throughout this race.
T5 another good yardstick, form here is poor however, only winning two from 15 and one out of eight from the trap. Does have more room to operate from this afternoon but I see us still being too quick on the inside.
T6 slight unknown really only been here once for an open race and was a double-figure price and never landed a blow. Does have a good draw but again this afternoon is likely to be the outsider in this contest.
So back to us in T2, good draw to pace up the inner and control the race from trap rise, we should be fit enough to last this extra 230m distance. I see us kicking a few lengths clear early and having enough in the tank to hold on on the run in.

19:42 Pelaw - Ballymac Deboss (T5) @ SP
Sunderland raider, prior to that was winning four-bend races for fun in Ireland at Mullingar, since arriving on these shores is two-for-two over the sprint trip at Sunderland in quick times, and this step up to 435m shouldn't be an issue.
The only slight negative is that we haven't been here for a trial but with our early pace we can lead out and use this race as a trial.
T1 Newcastle runner came here last week and won well at 2/7, leading early on the rails and pulling clear. Has been over four bends at home track will mixed success, will no doubt be our danger this evening from a good pitch on the rails.
T2 Oxford runner, will look to edge more middle on the run up, has a good record here with some quick sprint times over course, since then has landed a four-bend race at Oxford so another that may get involved at some point in tonight's contest.
T3 mixes four and six-bend races and won an A3 here breaking 26 seconds, a time sub-26 will be needed to land this evening's contest. This runner has managed that a couple of times, and I do see a few of tonight's field being quicker in the initial stages, not for me.
T4 Sunderland-graded runner, will not be up to this class and looks the outsider in tonight's contest.
T6 won on course debut last week, will need to improve and come on a few lengths for that win. Has every opportunity to do that tonight but I do see us gaining first run and the inside runner again may lead this runner.
So to us in T5, I have us breaking well and controlling this race from the first bend, if we lead I see us being too strong for the rest of the field.
