Sunday Greyhound Tips: Liberty bids to be Elite at Hove

Michael Smyth (@bettingjungle), our greyhound guru, completes the week with three betting tips for Sunday. As has been the case a couple of times this week, Michael is drawn to the action on offer at Hove.
He had two winners from this track yesterday, so he'll be hoping for more of the same. Read on for his Sunday Greyhound Tips.

1 pt 15:01 Hove – Droopys Crafty (T1) @ SP
Two from three at Hove yesterday, with Behemoth and Texas Jack both winning in impressive fashion.
Today, we return to the Nevill Road circuit looking to go one better and land a hat-trick of wins on a competitive all-graded card. At 15:01, look out for well-drawn railer DROOPYS CRAFTY, who lines up from T1 for trainer Carl Gardiner.
The June 2024 son of Ballyhimikin Jet is two from three in this A2 grade and has leading claims of landing another race over this four-bend 500m trip. The key to the race will be the break and run into the first bend.
If Droopys Crafty holds the rails, leads round and kicks a couple clear down the back straight, he’ll prove hard to beat. Clonkeen Jim (T4) will be staying on well and could be worth including in forecast bets. Droopys Roster is another who enters calculations from a plot draw in T6.

1 pt 16:34 Hove – Ballydarley Jack (T4) @ SP
The A3 graded race at 16:34 looks wide open with plenty in with live claims.
At a price, it could be worth taking a chance on BALLYDARLEY JACK, who runs from T3 for trainer Derek Knight. Jack returns to action this afternoon following a spell off the track.
A recent 30.17 run over this 500m trip suggests all is well, and he should come on plenty for that outing.
Prior to the layoff, Jack was running well and competing in top A1 company. Today, on the downgrade to A2 grade, he could prove to be a class above his rivals. Rural Ten (T4) is lightly raced with a two from five record during his racing career to date.
He rates as the main danger. Well-drawn wide seed Tell On Olivia (T6) would be a huge runner with a ping break and soft lead.

1 pt 17:12 Hove – Elite Liberty (T5) @ SP
The D1 graded race at 17:12 over the two-bend 285m trip looks ultra-competitive with plenty in with a chance of landing this top-grade sprint.
Barley Mo (T4) is going for three on the bounce and is likely to prove popular in the market but the value in the race could be ELITE LIBERTY from T5.
The September 2023 son of Burgess Bucks was beaten by Barley Mo over course and distance last time out but was slowly away on that occasion and has a chance to turn that form around if he brings his trapping boots and gets it right at the boxes.
As ever, all eyes will be on the break. It's imperative to ping the lids and hit the first bend on the bunny. Former Oxford-based railer Spot On Lizzie (T1) is two from two at Hove since moving to the south coast and could be worth including in forecast bets.
