Saturday Greyhound Tips: Trap2Line picks out two to follow from Perry Barr and Monmore

19:18 Perry Barr - King Jackson (T3) @ SP

To me this evening this represents a drop in class, we are pitched in here against a lot of top-graded runners rather than open race performers and I think our class will tell, we haven't trialled here but love a long run to the bend to pace up. We do that tonight and we can control this race.

T1 is a very consistent local runner, has won recently and runs well in all races. Will need to improve on recent times to be competitive this evening but the rails draw is always worth a few spots, I have this runner being third in this evening.

T2 more known as a four-bend runner at Swindon, maybe outpaced this evening over this 275m trip, running poorly recently and likely to go off one of the outsiders tonight.

T4 is in all-conquering form at Monmore recently but will be moving off as drawn tonight as she is more used to coming out of both T5/T6. Could come together with the outside runners, will give us a lot of space up the inside.

T5 rates our main danger and this local runner boasts a record of three wins from their last four races over course and distance - a no show recently at Nottingham but better judged on form here. Will need to avoid T4 in early stages but will be difficult to beat, I just think our overall class and pace will be too much for this runner.

T6 has just come back after an extended lay-off with runs here and at Monmore, seemed to struggle and times haven't been up to scratch, I can't see this runner getting involved tonight.

So to us in T3, we will have lots of space to pace up and hopefully clear the field at the bend, if we do that we can stretch on and win this well.

21:39 Monmore - Flying Desire (T1) @ SP

Only a five-dog race this evening but all runners seem to have a chance form wise, we left a few lengths on the track last week that we can get back this evening.

A good draw to work from and we have good early pace, lack a bit of middle pace but come home strongly so that is a perfect combination for this distance and short run to the bend.

T2 is our main danger and is very consistent on times and also form wise has won three of last four over course and distance so it's imperative that we gain first run on her. If we don't our chances go down a tad but with our running style we could quite easily come from behind this runner too.

T3 has been off since before Christmas, did have a run in may but was well out the back, lots of trials since and before may run but doesn't seem to have that old spark and could be one of the outsiders tonight.

T5 won well last week but overall six-bend runs leave more questions as to whether this runner stays or not, four-bends seem to be too short but this six-bend trip stretches his stamina. I think both T1 and T2 are better and stronger stayers than this runner, however if the inside pair do come together and spoil each others chances then this runner could pick up the pieces out wide.

T6 more-graded form than open race form, A3 over four-bends but did win a 630m open two runs ago and went off Favourite last week but couldn't land a blow, time is a concern to me though and we are over half-a-second quicker than this runner and that equates to over six-lengths faster.

In my opinion, I see us trapping well and holding our pitch on the inside, getting a clearer run than last week and stretching clear during the middle part of tonight's race and going further clear off the last bend.
