Saturday Greyhound Tips – Trap2Line’s two for today

The weekend is upon us - and with it a couple of flyers from our greyhound guru Trap2Line, hoping to do the business for us on Saturday.

Today's Greyhound Odds

T6 (Turnthemagicon) 19:39 Monmore @ SP

English debut tonight, very exciting pup going on his Cork form alone but has also trialled in over two bends at Towcester and here over course and distance. Ran really well first look last week, should come on for that and the race make up suits us tonight. We can record our fist win on these shores, fingers crossed.

How I see the race being run;

T1 is an early pace runner on the rails, has two and four bend form, is A2 over the 480m trip, and about half a second slow than we was on our trial. Might be prominent for the first couple of bends but overall won't be quick enough.

T2 is a slow starting railer who can get a tow into the race by following T1, not been able to land a race recently however, and we were a lot quicker over the 480m at Cork. Again, not quick enough for me to get involved tonight.

T3 is another graded runner, been off for the past couple of weeks and would prefer a draw nearer the rails. To me will need this race tonight and I can't see this one landing a blow.

T4 is another Irish recruit - struggled to break 29 seconds here and will need to improve a lot to compete tonight.

T5 will edge middle as drawn as normally comes out of T3/T4, meaning we are going to get loads of room on the outside. This runner is normally A2/A3 like some of the field,  but again I don't think this one will be quick enough tonight.

So to us in T6; great draw, lots of potential, and should land this race before going on to better things. I can see us making all and winning this race by multiple lengths impressively, so max bet for me.

T2 (Strathrannoch) 20:49 Yarmouth @ SP

Shelbourne runner who ran really well first start in this country last week dipping under 28 seconds. Has a different draw to work from this evening but I still see this one having much too much pace for the field and we can land our maiden English victory.

How I see this open race being run;

T1 won an A2 impressively last week but split times mean we should lead this runner up and gain the rails tonight. I can't see this one back running us if we do that.

T3 will move more mid-to-wide on the run up, a couple of quick times and one recently in an A2, pops out now and then and can turn handy in this. I can't see this one leading us up though.

T4 is a Clonmel recruit and made her debut at Romford over 575m last week running ok. This differs tonight and previous trials here aren't quick enough to get involved. Was an average grader in Ireland and will struggle tonight.

T5 has struggled too, in A2's since winning an A4, and I see this runner being the outsider this evening and won't get involved.

T6 - this Harlow runner held every chance here last week in a similar event but didn't land a blow, is average grade at its home track and again I see this one going off a big price.

So back to us in T2; class-wise we are head and shoulders above the other runners, good draw to lead up and make all, and we can pull clear for an impressive win.

Very confident choice, and I make this runner bet of the day.
