Monday Greyhound Tips: Trap2Line brings us tips from Yarmouth and Nottingham

New week, same Trap2Line. Our resident greyhounds tipster is kicking us off by running the rule over Yarmouth and Nottingham. Read on for his tips ahead of an evening of racing.

Landed a four-bend event last week but prior to that we came runner-up twice in two open race sprints. We don't face anything of that calibre this evening so I see an all-the-way victory from a plum draw on the rails.

T2 has better four-bend form than us but we are quicker over two bends. It will be crucial that we gain first-run on this runner. But as drawn we should easily do that tonight.

T3 does have the odd good sprint time and mixes open racing with D2 runs. This race is a lot stronger tonight. I do think this runner is our main danger on his times alone. But with us being drawn inside this runner we can rail them off at the bend and go on to victory.

T4 is a D2 runner who will struggle being raised this high in grade. I can't see this runner going off a big price tonight. There is nothing in his form that makes me think will win against these stronger rivals

T5 is more of a solid D2 runner than a top grade sprinter. There is quicker two-bend types in the race so I see this one being outpaced into the first bend.

T6 brings to mind similar comments to T5. Had this race been two years ago, this runner would be long odds-on for this contest. Recently this 2020 bitch is in the twilight of her career and will struggle to keep up tonight against us and T3.

So back to us, T1 on the inside. We have an excellent draw and great form. We should make all on the rails, a level break is all we need as we have exceptional early pace. Once leading at the bend we won't be back-run by any of tonights field. I make this selection my bet of the day.

20:01 Nottingham - Vale Bluebell (T2) @ SP

We have an excellent opportunity tonight with no Loxleys Forest in the race. We are in against suspect stayers and other runners that haven't been over this distance yet.

T1 is a Towcester runner, slow into stride but does have some good course and distance form. If you go back to December last year where we beat her close home over 730m and ran 2nd after trouble behind this runner over 680m. Does have a good draw to work from and we may need to get first run on this greyhound to show our best form.

T3 is a Sheffield raider more noted for four-bend form. Has been over 660m at Sheffield but only 500m here. Always slow to go and I feel we will gain first-run on this runner tonight.

Racing Post have T4 have this runner joint favourite and I can't see why. This dog is about 3-4 lengths slower than us on trial form alone here two runs ago. Time back at home track of Sheffield was not that great over 660m. Did gain the scalp of Garfiney Blaze last time she ran which is impressvie, but that runner had lots of trouble. I prefer our course form to this runner's.

T5 is an interesting competitor, stepping back up in trip. Did beat us with a good time back in January over this course and distance. Led and made all that day. Since then has been out of form and I can't see her reproducing January's run currently

T6 will be edging across as drawn tonight. Perry Barr raider is normally a middle runner, graded four-bend performer never been here nor ever raced this far. I can't see this one getting involved. Likely to go off the outsider.
