Monday Greyhound Tips: Yarmouth and Nottingham for today’s selections

Our resident greyhounds tipster, Trap2Line, kicks off the new week with his best bets from across all the greyhound meetings in the UK.

20:36 Nottingham - T4 (Capel Rose) @ SP

We arrive here for this marathon race in good form after landing a similar event back at our home circuit of Yarmouth where we were strong at the finish over 843m and this extra yardage should prove no problem.

How I see this race being run…

T1 another Yarmouth raider who was 3rd in our race last week, does have over four lengths to find on us on that form alone, prior to that was mixing four and six-bend races with little success and I see this runner being an outsider tonight. 

T2 main danger to us because of a couple of reasons, track form and draw, downside is she enters the unknown distance wise tonight but gets 730m okay so it shouldn't be a problem, we wouldn't want this runner too far clear early on as that will be a massive test for us to reel her in if so but I see us turning handier than we normally do and it will then be game on.

T3 came to England with a big reputation from Ireland and has yet not fulfilled that promise, so good runs but no wins so far, will be competitive tonight just a little outclassed late on by us. 

T6 final Yarmouth raider tonight, very big prices last 6 races, all double figures and hasn't been anywhere near the leaders, will be another big price tonight and in a clear run race won't trouble us.

So to us in T4, big danger in T2 but we can turn second here (at worse third) and come through the second lap to win this race going away with a strong staying performance. Solid chance.

18:14 Yarmouth - T2 (Murrow Catatumbo) @ SP

We have a very surprising down draft this evening and seem to have a really good race make up this evening and can quickly leave this A5 grade behind landing our first win since returning to the track. 

How I see this race panning out…

T1 is very slow to start more at home in the lower grades of A6 and A7 and seems to get outpaced when up as high as this A5 grade and I can only see this runner getting involved if there is a lot of trouble in the race.

T3 will move more mid to wide on the run up and give us lots of room on the inside to control the race from the off, consistent in the grade but I do see this runner crowding run up and again first bend with the dogs on his outside. 

T4 another downgraded runner this evening, good early ice but not lasting out races too strongly and I see this runner being out goalkeeper and keeping the rest of the field behind us once we master this runner by third bend. 

T5 steps back up to this grade after winning the last three A6 he has competed in, not so good in this grade so far and may come together with T4 on the run up and I can't see him gaining a clear run tonight.

T6 has been dropping down the grades since running in A4 in July, not in form but was backed into favourite in a similar race last week, all the outside three split times are similar and I see them ruining each other's chances at the bend.

So for us in T2, we have got a great draw to lead up on the rails, with T3 moving off we have lots of space to pace up and turn handy behind T4 to even rail the outside three runners off at the bend.

Class-wise, we were running A3 and our return in A4 can be best ignored as we were badly crowded at the first bend, lots going for us tonight that's why I make us my max bet this evening.
