Monday Greyhound Tips: Our doyen of the dogs hits Doncaster

1 pt 15:41 Doncaster – Daleroad Dasher (T3) @ SP

Three from Doncaster this afternoon on a competitive all graded card at the Yorkshire venue. At 15:41, look out for the James Gaskin-trained railer DALEROAD DASHER, who lines up from T3. The October 2023 son of Malachi is often sent off at short odds with defeats at Evens, 10/11 and 4/5 in recent weeks plus a win at 5/6.

Today, all eyes will be on the break with Abigails Marina (T2) likely to head to the rails at lid rise which could hamper main rival Keefill Apollo (T1) on the run into the first bend. If that happens, and Dasher traps well, he can lead round, kick for home and make all to record his tenth victory at Doncaster in thirty-two races. Millhouse Craig (T4) and Sporting Venus (T5) can battle it out to chase the selection home and fill the forecast spot.

1 pt 16:37 Doncaster – Easy Find (T3) @ SP

The D4 graded sprint at 16:37 over the two-bend 275-metre trip can go to EASY FIND, who lines up from T3 for trainer Debbie Calvert. The January 2025 youngster has only had three runs in her short career to date and bolted up last time out leading off the second bend, winning by two lengths in 17.70. The youngster will be improving with each run and once she starts getting it right at the boxes, she looks the type to go through the grades.

This afternoon, it's all about trapping level, do that and its race on. Kellyseyenoone rates as the main danger from T1. The October 2023 son of Knockalton Flash has clearly had issues with just the four runs on his card but recently showed he's more than capable of taking a race like this with a quick-away-made-all success in D5 grade clocking 17.74. A repeat of that would make him competitive this afternoon.

1 pt 17:46 Doncaster – Sandwood Annie (T3) @ SP

The third and final selection from Doncaster this afternoon is SANDWOOD ANNIE, who runs from T3 in the D2 graded race at 17:46. A winner of twelve from thirty-five at Doncaster and three from eight in this grade, Annie goes into the race with leading claims. As ever, over the sprint trip all eyes will be on the boxes with Annie looking to clear those drawn inside and hit the front by the first bend.

If she traps well and avoids a bump, she will take all the beating. A vacant box in T2 strengthens claims and Annie looks a solid play. Abigails Sunny (T1) is a consistent Doncaster performer and could be worth including in forecast bets. Crystal Bale (T4) has won two of her last four races and is worth noting in the market.
