20:01 Romford - Alright Gordy (T5) @ SP
We were desperately unlucky on our last visit to this venue over course and distance when we were finishing with a wet sail only to be blocked at a crucial point and lose all momentum against a few of tonight's rivals. We have an excellent draw to track our two main market rivals before challenging late (hopefully without incident).
How I see this 750m marathon being run:
T1 recently returned to the card and did have a win over the 575m distance, not so good latest and overall times, I feel this runner will struggle to get involved if it's a clean run race.
T2 won by lengths last week, and once getting loose, I would've expected a better time and ended up being four lengths off T6 for the same distance. Can quickly lead the inside runner, but I feel there are stronger dogs drawn wider than this one.
T3 if the race gets messy then this runner stays all day and can pick up the pieces, I'm not so sure if it's a clean run race that this runner will be quick enough to lie up with us, either way you will get some sort of run for your money if you back this one as she always tries.
T4 is one of our dangers tonight; this is the runner that blocked us in the race I spoke about earlier, and again can be prominent with T2 and T6 tonight. I think if we don't get hampered, we can collar this rival off the last bend, but if we get held up and this runner gets off the front, then it will be difficult.
T6 has two ways of running, breaks well and leads, then nothing really can get near her, but does sometimes miss the break and then struggles to run a clean race with dogs around her, there is other pace in tonight's race, so I can see this one not getting the easy lead she has had in the last couple of 750m contests.
So to us in T5, we are very strong at this trip, yes, we will have to do things the hard way and come through the pack, but that is our style of running, as long as we look after ourselves at the bend, we will be too strong for tonight's field. Strong choice.

21:14 Sunderland - Toddys Tank (T3) @ SP
Won for us last week over the shorter trip, and easily qualified for tonight's dual distance final, I make this a match with us and T4 and with the benefit of the draw I can see us going round level or just behind T4, overall we are the stronger dog over this distance so I would be confident if we went round first or a close secnd.
How I see this final being run:
T1 has been on and off the card a lot the last year or so, but returned with a win in the heats, not as quick as us or T4, but did win nevertheless. This runner's four-bend form is sketchy at best, and I can't see him troubling the fancied runners tonight.
T2, I would say about 40 spots around five lengths off us and T4 in a clean run race, and I can see this runner going off the outsider tonight.
T4 is our main danger, electric early pace and is 2/2 in the trap and 6/7 over the sprint trip, to me not so strong over this longer trip and won't be going quicker at halfway, will infact be getting slower, as long as we turn within a length of this runner I can see us collaring this one on the run in.
T5 is an interesting Irish runner on the pick of his form, and today he can maybe surprise a few. Has dipped under 29 seconds at Shelbourne over the 480m trip, so could be one to watch.
T6 is a regular A1 performer, but had a poor draw tonight, and will be edging in up the run as it is used to being drawn closer to the rails. I can't see this one having enough pace to clear us and T4; pass from me.
So, finally, to us in T3, we blitzed them in the heats last week and were going further and further clear after the line. That will stand us in good stead for this evening; we just have to beat T4, which we are drawn to do. I'm confident of a big run.
