Friday Greyhound Tips: Trap2Line does Romford as we close the week out in style

20:19 Romford - T3 (Magical Luka) @ SP

Big money purchase from Ireland comes with a massive reputation after going 4-4 at Tralee with some very quick times. Has been over here a few weeks and has already ran really quick over the two-bend trip at Oxford along with a 23.63 run here off a spilt of 3.58. That is ridiculously fast. The only runner that can beat him this evening is himself. I see this being a prep run for the Golden Sprint. Either way, scribble this runner in your notebooks moving forward.

T1's inside draw will help and if this runner can reproduce his run two races ago, they may be a danger to us. This one broke 24 seconds on an A1, good draw on the rails tonight.

T2 was a quick sprinter at Central Park and comes here after having a trial earlier in the year. Will need to improve on the 24.21 posted that day and I can't see this one pacing up past us.

T4 is a middle runner and slow to go. Will struggle to get a run in this. Likely one of the outsiders this evening and I can't see this one landing a blow.

T5 notched a decent win at Oxford at the start of August and I did expect a quicker trial than his from last week. Because of that, may come on a few lengths after the initial look but will need to improve eight lengths plus to challenge us.

T6 is more of a mid-runner than a wide-runner. Debuts tonight in a hot race. Trials don't suggest this one is a world beater but still could pay his way on open scene. Pestana was his sire so there is pace in the genes.

So back to us in T3, we could be a superstar in the making and we can easily land this on the way to better things. I see ping break, clear these by the bend and win by five-plus lengths in a sub-24-second time. Max bet for me.

19:44 Romford - T2 (Missile One) @ SP

This will be the first time we have stepped up to six bends, over a track and trip that I think will suit. Tonight will be a look to see if this runner can challenge in the Champion Stakes or not. A fact finding mission that we can pass with flying colours 

T1 is an ex Irish stayer that hasn't set the world alight so far over here. Did win on debut in a decent time at Oxford but I was disappointed with his run in the Staying event at Monmore. Subsequently had a pair of four bend races at same venue.  On a kind of recovery mission tonight and I just see us gaining first run on this runner. He still rates as a big danger to us as does have staying form over an extended six bends in Ireland.

T3 used to race at Hove and has yet to trouble the judge here so far, with a pair of 3rd place finishes. Achilles heel has been splits from traps to winning line first time. They do need to improve and I can't see that tonight 

T4 has a poor draw tonight and will be looking to come over on run to first bend. What we need to be careful of is this one pinging the lids and cutting us off on the run to the bend. Does have some good quick splits over four bends.

T5 is a local grader over four bends. Will be a massive price tonight and I can't see this one being anywhere near them.

T6 has a good draw on the outside. Could run well at a price if the inside runners crowd up. Has only registered average times over this trip but does have a good draw tonight.

So to us in T2, we're a class above these runners tonight.  Should get either a lead or a good tow into the race. We have the middle pace to go clear and then it's what we have left around the last two bends. I think we will be far enough clear to hold the late surge of T1. Confident choice.
