Friday Greyhound Tips: Take my dog to the London Road

Today's three selections all emanate from the card at Romford, which you can read about below...

1 pt 19:53 Romford – Cascabel (T2) @ SP

Three from the London Road circuit Romford this evening on a competitive card featuring three graded races and nine opens. At 19:53 in heat one of the Friday Night 500 Maiden Stayers over the six-bend 575-metre trip, look out for Monmore raider CASCABEL from T2. A recent trial over the 400-metre trip in 24.05 reads well and with this 575-metre trip likely to suit he looks a strong selection.

The April 2024 son of Deerjet Sydney looks plotted up with T1 vacant. If he traps well and holds the rails he will prove hard to beat. Queen Gracie (T6), trained by John Mullins, will be staying on well and can chase the selection home and fill the forecast spot. Rapdio Louise (T4) bolted up in an S1 graded race a couple of weeks back and would be a runner with a ping break.

1 pt 21:13 Romford – Headford Sarah (T1) @ SP

The Like And Follow Us On Facebook Bitches open race at 21:13 over the four-bend 400-metre trip can go to HEADFORD SARAH from T1. The Maxine Locke-trained railer is strong over this trip and looks well-drawn to turn with the pace, if that happens its race on. The key is avoiding an early bump. If Sarah can turn second or third behind likely leader Zinedine Zedog (T5), she can make her move down the back straight and hit the front at the third bend.

Bretons Girl (T3) is another who will be looking to lead round so it's imperative that Headford Sarah avoids that rival around the first couple of bends. Bacon Burger (T2) is a consistent Romford performer who could go well at a price.

1 pt 22:13 Romford – Mad For Cash (T2) @ SP

The third and final selection from Romford is MAD FOR CASH, who runs from T2 in the RGOA stayers open at 22:13 over the six-bend 575-metre trip. The Monmore raider, trained by Nathan Hunt, looks well-drawn to lead round and, once on the bunny this could be all over bar the shouting. Mad For Cash is capable of clocking around the 35-second mark and a run like that would make her very hard to beat.

The key will be clearing Full Monty (T1) at lid rise. Mystical Batman (T5) is three from nine around Romford and enters calculations. The Maxine Locke-trained middle seed rates as the main danger and is worth including in forecast bets. Royal Hotshot (T6) is another who could go well at a price.
