Friday Greyhounds Tips: Trap2Line is looking for a Romford Double

Our resident Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line is back with two more selections from across the UK and is looking at a Romford double on Friday evening following a one-for-two night on Thursday.

As always, he gives us his thoughts and reasons behind his chosen runners. Read on to find his Friday Greyhound Tips...

T4 (Mad for Sterling) 18:37 Romford

Unlucky to be knocked out of the champion stakes at the semi-final stage last week, very consistent overall and has some strong course and distance form. Our only Achilles heel is our starts and having to do things the hard way but in a clean run race we are the quickest in tonight's field

How I see the race panning out tonight, our danger is T2 and if T2 gets first run and cuts loose it will be difficult for us, however T2 hasn't really trapped since returning to the course and I take us to have that ones measure, if we lead anytime in this race we win it's as simple as that.

You probably won't see us until the 2nd lap down the far side, that's when our staying ability kicks in and we are travelling 2 strides to all the other dogs 1 stride, a clean race and we pick these up and win this going away, confident selection.

T1 (Kilara Berb) 19:44 Romford

Underarm so far in his young career 4/4 you can't get any better than that, 3 wins over course and distance and 1 win back over in Ireland so we bring an unblemished record to the traps tonight and again we have fared better than most on the draw

How I see tonight's race going, we can control the inside straight from Trap rise and rail the field off at the initial bend.

Yes T3 would be dangerous as that does stay on strongly but is a bang railer so will struggle to get a pitch early on in this. I think we lead by 1st bend and kick clear down the back to again record a sub 24 second run which the majority of the field couldn't do in a trial. Max bet for me.
