1 pt 19:16 Hove – Avarua Lake (T1) @ SP
All eyes on the Nevill Road circuit Hove this evening with eleven open races plus one graded race taking place at the south coast venue. At 19:16, look out for AVARUA LAKE, who runs from T1 in the Coral Summertime Sprint open race over the two-bend 285-metre trip. The Richard Rees-trained railer looks very well-drawn in a race featuring four wide seeds.
If the August 2023 daughter of Serene Ace gets it right at the boxes and holds her pitch into the first corner, she can lead round and make all. Avarua Lake goes into this race with an impressive four from five record at Hove, trap well, and she can add to that this evening. Slaneyside Swade runs from T3 for the first time. The wide seed would be a danger to all if he brings his trapping boots. Another who could go well is Guzzler in T4. The Belinda Green-trained runner has an impressive strike rate in opens at Hove and goes into this evening's race with a live chance.

1 pt 20:07 Hove – Shudacudawouda (T4) @ SP
The Maidens Trophy final at 20:07 over the four-bend 500-metre trip can go to the Seamus Cahill-trained middle seed SHUDACUDAWOUDA from T4. The lightly raced April 2024 son of Drumantine has caught the eye a number of times lately, staying on well at Towcester and at Hove. Tonight, if Shudacudawouda turns handy behind likely leader Rapido Benji (T3), it's race on.
The key will be what happens at the third bend when challenging. Granted a clear run, he can hit the front and power clear of the chasing pack to record his first victory since moving across the Irish Sea. Outdoor Corona (T1) ran a cracker on four-bend debut two weeks ago in the heats of this competition and is worth noting in the market

1 pt 20:24 Hove – Alright Bullet (T3) @ SP
Next up at Hove is the Coral Trophy final at 20:24 run over the four-bend 515-metre trip. This looks like an ultra-competitive race with plenty in with chances. At the forecast prices, it could be worth keeping an eye on ALRIGHT BULLET, who runs from T3. The David Lewis-trained railer has some smart Towcester form on his card, including wins in 28.82 and 28.76, he also has a win over the 500-metre trip at Hove clocking 29.11.
Tonight, if Alright Bullet gets it right at the boxes and leads round, he can kick for home off the second bend and then its catch me if you can. Droopys Invent (T4) will be staying on well and enters calculations as a forecast mixer in the race. Venetian Chief (T5) is another who stays well and could be worth including in forecast bets.
