Saturday Greyhound Tips: Three selections to follow from Dunstall Park

Our resident greyhounds tipster, Michael Smyth (@bettingjungle on X), has three picks for us to kick off the weekend, all of which come from Dunstall Park.

1 pt 18:58 Dunstall Park – Bluejig Outlaw (T4) @ SP

Three from Dunstall Park this evening on a competitive card featuring eight open and four graded races. At 18:58 in heat one of the Arena Racing Company Stayers Cup over the six-bend 660-metre trip, look out for Central Park raider BLUEJIG OUTLAW who lines up from T4.

The Maxine Locke-trained middle seed bolted up at his home track last week in 39.66 from off the pace. Tonight, on Dunstall Park debut, this is all about getting a clear run, avoiding a bump.

If that happens the January 2024 son of Grangeview Ten can make his move by the fourth bend and then power clear of the chasing pack. Venetian Mick (T3) could be the pace in the race and would be a danger to all granted a soft lead. Ragdoll Rosie (T5) will be flying home and could be worth including in forecast bets at a price.

1 pt 19:38 Dunstall Park – Savanaregimental (T5) @ SP

Heat two of the Arena Racing Company Stayers Cup at 19:38 looks ultra-competitive with plenty in with live chances.

Wide seed SAVANAREGIMENTAL (T5) is in flying form with three wins from his last four runs and looks well-drawn this evening to turn handy and then hit the front and book his place in the next round of this Category Two competition.

Towcester raider Malcolm Bosh stays on well and is an interesting runner from T3. The July 2023 son of Tommy Shelby is likely to turn last, but the turbo will be kicking in off the final couple of bends as he looks to grab a qualification spot. Lightly raced Droopys Scratch (T2) is another who could get competitive on Dunstall Park debut.

A recent win over 575 metres at Romford was ultra-impressive. She could go well this evening, especially if she grabs the rails at lid rise.

1 pt 20:38 Dunstall Park – Keefill Tank (T3) @ SP

The third and final selection from Dunstall Park is KEEFILL TANK, who runs from T3 in heat four of the Category One BGBF British Bred Puppy Cup at 20:38.

The lightly-raced middle seed trained by Maxine Locke had a recent trial around Dunstall Park clocking 28.76 following a 3.07 sectional. Further improvement is likely and granted a clear run, the August 2024 son of Droopys Addition can hit the front down the back straight and power clear of his rivals.

Aero Noduff (T4) is worth noting on just her second ever run. The September 2024 daughter of Ballymac Cashout showed plenty of early pace to win around her home track Monmore recently on competitive debut and looks a nice type for the Taberner kennel.

Aero Daisy, also trained by Richie Taberner, looks well-drawn on the rails and could be worth including in forecast and tricast bets.
