Friday Greyhounds Tips: Three Romford runners fancied

1 pt 19:33 Romford – Scooby Diamond (T4) @ SP

All eyes are the London Road circuit Romford this evening with Category Two and One action taking place. The Category Two Coral Guys and Dolls – Dolls final at 19:33 can go to SCOOBY DIAMOND, who lines up from T4 for trainer Nathan Hunt over the four-bend 400-metre trip. Last September, Scooby made all over course and distance to land the Romford Puppy Cup and collected the £10,000 to the winner prize money.

Tonight, the middle seed looks well-drawn to lead round, and once on the bunny she can make all to land another major race at Romford. Headford Sarah enters calculations from T1. The Maxine Locke-trained railer would be a huge danger with a level break and clear run into the first bend. Lil Bo Beep (T5) is often there or thereabouts at the finish and could be worth including in forecast bets at a price.

1 pt 20:33 Romford – Raebella Bullet (T2) @ SP

At 20:33 all eyes will be on the traps as RAEBELLA BULLET (T2) and Tiffield Tarquin (T6) clash in the second semi-final of the Category One Coral Coronation Cup run over the six-bend 575-metre trip at Romford. Hove raider Raebella Bullet bolted up on six-bend debut last time out in the heats of this competition, clocking 35.34 following a smart 13.65 sectional.

Further improvement is likely from the July 2023 daughter of Good News, and, with a ping break, she can lead round, make all and book her place in next Friday's final. Tiffield Tarquin is a class act who should also book his place in the final. The wide seed has an impressive nine from twelve record at Romford and would be a huge runner if he brings his trapping boots this evening. Bubbly Amber (T1) returned to action on Monday in the first-round heats following a layoff. She will strip fitter for that outing and has claims of grabbing a qualification spot and does Droopys Deploy from T5.

1 pt 22:13 Romford – Behemoth (T6) @ SP

The third and final selection from Romford this evening is BEHEMOTH, who runs from T6 in the Romford Greyhound Owners Association Stayers' open race over the six-bend, 575-metre trip at 22:13. The Belinda Green-trained Hove raider has always shaped like this trip would suit and this evening on six-bend debut the December 2023 son of Malachi looks well-drawn to lead round and make all.

The recent 29.21 trial over the 500-metre trip at his home track Hove, is flying. He’s clearly in top form following a recent layoff and this evening he can get back to winning ways. Charlie Loves Me rates as the main danger from T1. Trained by John Mullins, the early-paced railer would be a huge runner granted a clear run. Too Wright (T2) is capable of winning this from the front or if he turns in a pitch, she could be worth including in forecast bets.
