Wednesday Greyhound Tips: Free Flowing top picks courtesy of Trap2Line

Hump day is greyhounds day once again here on Betfred Insights. Trap2Line, our resident doyen of the dogs, has brought two top tips from Sunderland and Yarmouth to get you through what critics are calling the middle day of the working week.

T4 (Free Flow) 21:04 Yarmouth @ SP

We are still gaining fitness since coming back on to the card. I feel today is a gilt-edged opportunity to get back into the winners enclosure and start to climb the grading ladder having been A1/A2 prior to lay off. Here in A5 we are a winner waiting to happen.

T1 returned with a win in this grade. A no show in a pair of A3 races since and last week was reverted back to this grade by the grader. Again ran poorly, even in A4 and gets another downgrade tonight. Slow to go and I see trouble at the bend today.

T2 is having their first run back since being off. Previously an A2 scorer so won't be hanging around in this grade for long. May very well need this race tonight and can gain match fitness. I can't see her being quick enough for her three-to-four bend trials the last few weeks. Not for me.

T3 is out of form. Has shown early pace but then has dropped out of previous races. This runner can help draw us out this evening. As for this one's chances I can't see her landing a blow with times and form a little way off most of the field.

T5 is a vacant trap which helps us.

T6 has zero wins from five in this grade. Wins A6s for fun but when it comes to this grade seems to struggle. Has a plot draw on the outside being the only wide seed in tonight's contest but will have to find a chunk of time to get involved.

So to us in T4, we have race fitness on our side and really good back form in higher grades. Looking at the race make up we can lead or turn second to T3 and then use our middle pace to close or go clear and then stretch right away for an impressive win. Strong choice.

T6 (Laughill Larry) 15:13 Sunderland @ SP

We have been running really consistently in top grade and open races the past couple of months. This afternoon's field represents a slight drop in class and we can make that tell with a dominant performance.

T1 has a good draw on the inner with no T2. Stepped up to six bends last week but didn't perform very well. Usually slow to go and finishes strongly over this four bend trip. If this runner gets a run in behind and the race slows up then has a major chance to come through late on. 

T2 is a vacant trap.

T3 is a regular top grade runner. Won two of last four runs, all about early pace and will look to lead out today and put the pace to the race. Has a good draw to do that outside the slow starter in T1. We have better all round pace and can pick this runner up in the second half of today's contest.

T4 another with early pace. May challenge T3 for the lead. Overall times aren't quick enough to win today and I feel will drop away late on in today's race. 

T5 has been running well since coming back on to the card, winning three of five. But time wise hasn't produced anything electric or fast. I can see this one struggling to get involved today.

So to us on the outside in T6, we have great form and I love our draw. Time wise we have two-three lengths in hand on most of today's field. We can stay out wide and come through by bend three to win the race going away. Very confident and I make this runner my bet of the day.
