Tuesday Greyhound Tips: Can we follow up yesterday’s winning duo?

Our greyhounds guru Michael Smyth (@bettingjungle on X) landed two winners yesterday, with a 5/2 pick and a 4/1 fancy doing the business for us. Did somebody say 'momentum'?

Today's Greyhound Odds

1 pt 14:54 Swindon – Blackheath Ellen (T1) @ SP

Two from three yesterday with Sparta Little (5/2) and Noduff Golf (4/1) bolting up. Today we head to Swindon, Towcester and Sunderland on a Tuesday filled with competitive graded action on Premier Greyhound Racing.

The first selection runs at Swindon in the A2 graded race at 14:54 over the four-bend 476 metre trip at the Wiltshire venue. In race where many will be looking to lead round BLACKHEATH ELLEN (T1) looks well-drawn on the rails to hold her pitch into the corner, if that happens, she can lead down the back straight and kick for home. On the bunny Ellen is capable of clocking around the 28.50 mark, a repeat of that should see her take this. Solo wide seed Distant Power is a consistent course and distance performer and rates as the danger from T5.

1 pt 20:24 Towcester – Loughgur Pat (T2) @ SP

Over at the Towcester one that caught my eye was the Ray Turney-trained railer LOUGHGUR PAT who lines up from T2 in the A3 graded race at 20:24 over the 500m trip. The July 2022 son of Broadstrand Bono has kept good company throughout his career running against top class four-bend performers like 2025 English Derby champion Droopys Plunge, and class acts like Bombay Nutty and Tiffield Tarquin.

In recent weeks Pat has moved well in a two-bend trial and then finished second in a D2 sprint. Today, on his return to four-bend action he looks well-drawn to grab the rails at lid rise, and if that happens, he will prove very hard to beat. Lightly raced May 2024 youngster Romeo Rule rates as the danger from T3, it's imperative that Pat holds him into the corner and kicks a couple clear down the back straight. All About Rosie will be staying on well from T6 and could be worth including in forecast bets.

1 pt 21:28 Sunderland – Dirty Cash (T3) @ SP

The third and final selection of the day comes from Sunderland in the A9 graded race at 21:28 over the four-bend 450 metre trip at the North East venue. The Yvonne Bell-trained runner looks the likely leader in a race filled with pups including two making their debuts. On the bunny Dirty Cash is capable of clocking around the 28.55 mark, that puts him two or three lengths ahead of the opposition.

The key to the race is the break, Dirty Cash has a habit of swinging off at the first bend when he turns mid-pack in A8 grade, now dropped into A9 company for the first time he can lead round and prove hard to peg back. Debutant Pee Jays Boy (T4) is worth noting in the market. The June 2024 son of Fromposttopillar took a market step forward on the clock last time out in a trial and would be a runner this evening with a level break.
