Tuesday Greyhound Tips: A duo of Sunderland fancies from Trap2Line

Welcome back to your daily dose of track-side expertise courtesy of Trap2Line. Our on-call honourable gentleman of the dogs is back with a prize pair of canine athletes. Sunderland is in his sights today as he sniffs out value in the markets.

21:46 Sunderland - T3 (Long Bonnie) @ SP

We have been well supported the last two runs having been made to re-trial after we went a little too quick when winning an A8. Now up to this A5 level, the money has been down the last couple of runs and compensation is waiting for us this evening.

T1 recently downgraded to this level and also has been for an open race at Pelaw where she was totally outclassed. Back in this A5 grade tonight where she is 0-1 but does have some good back form in a higher grade so can't be totally discounted. Not currently running at the peak of her powers.

T2 was backed into favourite last week and put up an improved performance in this grade when only going down narrowly. A repeat of that effort means this runner would be our biggest danger. Overall this runner has a three from eight strike rate in this grade and will always give you a run for your money.

T4 won two of last four, albeit in A7 and A6. Has never won in this grade in eight attempts. Also only won once from four tries in the trap. Slow to go and will need a lot of luck at bend number one. I can't see this runner getting a clear run tonight.

T5 since the change of lure this runner has been missing the break. Went off a double figure price last week and ran poorly and I would need to see a return to form before putting this one up as a possible bet. Downgrade will help but not running well.

T6 has run at big prices recently and not been getting involved in finishes and finishing out the back in races. Nearly landed a shock last week at 25/1 but was still 22 lengths behind the winner. I can't see this runner getting a clear passage on the outside tonight.

So to us in T3, good draw to work from tonight. we have youth on our side and should keep improving, as long as we can get round bend one unscathed then we should be  too quick for tonights field and go on to record our 2nd victory. Confident choice.

19:11 Sunderland T4 (Headford Eimear) @ SP

We made an eye catching debut in this grade last week and this runner went straight into my notebook. It said 'wins next time in the grade'. We should come on for our first race and be a bit stronger tonight. We will need to be. I do see a dominant all the way performance from trap to line.

T1 is our main danger tonight. A grade dropper that is normally slowly into stride, that can lead to its own problems in being held up and waiting for a run. we can gain the crucial first run on this rival tonight. If we don't lead or get crowded at any point this runner is strong and will come through off the last bend.

T2 is zero from five in the grade and needs to find a chunk of time to get involved tonight. will probably be one of the outsiders tonight and will need lots to fall right if he is to trouble the judge.

T3 is another slow to go type. This pup is yet to get his head in front both in level starts and handicaps. I'm aware that pups can all of a sudden show dramatic improvement but I feel this race will come to soon and this runner's style of running. That should make sure that we get a clear passage on the run up.

T5 won two runs back but overall in this grade normally goes off at double figure prices. Tonight will be no exception. Has probably around 3-4 lengths to find on us and we should have more improvement in the locker too and I would be surprised if this runner beat us.

T6 won a handicap last time out and has been keeping to that style of racing recently. Back to a level starts and tonight but to me won't figure.

So to us in T4, great draw and a repeat of last weeks split times could have us going round bend one with a few length lead. We can then stretch even further clear down the back and have enough in reserve to fend off T1 late on. Very confident of a big run.
