1 pt 17:37 Monmore – Deelish Jerry (T1) @ SP
Plenty of action today across the Premier Greyhound Racing tracks up and down the country. The three standout bets come from Monmore, Swindon and Sunderland. The first is DEELISH JERRY who lines up from T1 in the A9 graded race from Monmore at 17:37 over the standard four-bend 480-metre trip at the Wolverhampton venue.
The June 2024 son of Koblenz impressed on debut last week, showing nice back straight pace to win in A10 company. This is a step up in class but one that the well-drawn railer can take, especially if he traps well from a rails draw. The key to this race is holding his pitch into the corner, do that and Jerry can kick for home, and prove hard to peg back. Cazzers Margo (T3) can show pace into the first bend. It's imperative that Jerry holds that rival at lid rise.
Brucey Bonus could attract support from T6. The wide seed is two from nine in the grade and is always there or thereabouts at the finishing line in this type of company.

1 pt 18:02 Swindon – Deerland Flyer (T5) @ SP
Another lightly raced potential improver for us today is wide seed DEERLAND FLYER who runs from T5 in the A4 graded race from Swindon at 18:02. The Frank Bryce-trained son of Ballymac Kingdom is blessed with blistering early pace into the corner but is green as grass and still has plenty to learn.
Last time out over course and distance, Deerland didn’t get a flyer from the boxes; he completely missed the break and recorded a 4.30 sectional, that's around three lengths behind his previous run.
Today, if Deerland Flyer brings his trapping boots and pings the lids, he can be a couple clear at the corner and half a dozen clear by the third bend. Once the penny drops, Deerland Flyer looks the type to go through the grades and make into a top grader at whichever track he moves to following the closure of Swindon in the coming days.

2 pt 20:19 Sunderland – Pee Jays Boy (T3) @ SP
The third and final selection runs at Sunderland this evening, and it's a continuation of the lightly raced and potential improver theme of the day. PEE JAYS BOY has only run twice, he caught the eye on debut chasing home a decent winner and then missed the break on his second run when sent off the well fancied 5/2 favourite.
Tonight, in a race lacking early pace, the Jill Sutherst-trained railer looks well-drawn to lead round and once on the bunny Pee Jays Boy looks the type to improve massively on the clock, and he would prove very hard to beat.
As ever, the key to the race will be the break and run into the corners. Pee Jay is well-drawn; he now needs to take advantage of that and hit the back straight on the bunny.
