T6 (Must Be Good) 19:46 Sunderland @ SP

We have a welcome downgrade this evening from D2 into this D3 grade, where we have a record of 5 wins. Today's race make up looks like it will suit us best. Being the only wide seed, we can swoop round the outer at the first bend and miss all the trouble on the inner before going on for victory.

T1 has had double-figure prices for the last five runs, winning one. In general form, this dog's form has been poor. I see this runner being a big price, so the only positive is the draw. In sprint races, T1 is always worth a length or so but I don't feel this runner is in the form to take advantage.

T2 had one good win recently in a decent time, but since coming up to this level has fallen short. Prior to lay-off was running really well in four-bend races, so back form is there. He will be getting fitter and fitter each outing. Record wise for the grade he has only had one run so no real sprinting stats to go on.

T3 pops up now and again. This runner has raced 110 times here and won 21 of those. Yo-yo's between D4 and D2 and currently finds himself in D3. He has two ways of running. If he pings and leads he nearly always wins but recently hasn't been coming away as quick so I feel we are going to get first run on the outside tonight

T4 is consistent in this grade but a little off these in regards to times. Only a pup though so there could be improvement to come, I've based my choice on form instead of potential.

T5 he is going to edge across to the middle on the run up and give us lots of space on the outside, judging by the videos I've watched. Form wise, this dog is D2/D3 level so we will need to do everything right to land this race. I just see T5 causing crowding for the other middle runners today.

So to us in T6 on the outside. We're the sole wide seed. Good early pace to clear this field at the bends, time wise we are the most consistent of tonight's field and I see a big run ahead. Very confident selection.

Tonight we have an excellent opportunity to add another victory to our good recent run of form. This A1 race could actually be an open race with the calibre of runner lining up against us this evening. We have fared well on the draw and can use this to turn handy and stay best.

T2 is a very good local runner who has been on his travels to Nottingham and Dunstall Park. Has a 50% win ratio in the grade but his Achilles heel is trapping and this runner is always slow into stride. That could mean we can boss the rails on the inside.

T3 suffers a poor draw for a wide runner and no doubt will be edging right all the way towards the first bend. Has been in good form since return with three wins from from races including three from three here. This runner is definitely our main danger this evening. He also boasts an impeccable record in A1's, being undefeated under this code. We will have to be on our toes tonight. Draw for me swings it in our favour.

T4 is a runner that has really good early pace, but recently hasn't been coming away and getting involved in traffic early on in races. If he does come away tonight could be in the way of both T3 and T5,. I still see this runner as a double-figure price for tonight's race.

T5 has won 21 of 34 races here and 9 from 13 from the trap. Add that to a record of three out of five in the grade and you get another danger. We easily picked this runner up last week and nothing I see changes my mind that we will do that again. In fact, with lots of pace in T3/T4/T5 they can and will spoil each other's chances and leave the door open for us on the inner.

T6 vacant trap

So to us in T1, plum draw on the rails, set for a solo with T3 moving off. We can break well, turn second or maybe third at worst before getting to work down far side. I feel we will challenge and go on by bend three and win this race going away with T2 staying on best of the rest for 2nd. Solid chance.
