1 pt 15:51 Towcester – Bombay Nutty (T5) @ SP
Three selections today on an ultra-competitive mixed card from Towcester live on Premier Greyhound Racing. At 15:51 in the Orchestrate Stayers open race over the six-bend 712-metre trip, look out for BOMBAY NUTTY who lines up from T5.
The Mark Wallis-trained middle seed is a class act and has kept very good company this calendar year running against the likes of Mongys Wild, Vhagar and New Destiny in all the major Category One competitions.
This afternoon this appears to be much calmer waters and with a smart break the February 2023 son of Broadstrand Bono can turn handy and then hit the fifth bend. Once on the bunny it’ll take a good one to back run Nutty over this distance.
Oxford raider Alright Irene rates as the danger from T4. She starts and stays so it's imperative that Nutty stays on her tail on the first circuit.

1 pt 16:47 Towcester – Romeo Ability (T1) @ SP
At 16:47 all eyes will be on the Category One BGBF British Bred Derby final that takes place over the four-bend 500 metre trip at Towcester. Draws win races and based on a plot rails position I’m with ROMEO ABILITY from T1.
Romeo has plenty of ability as he has shown in recent months making it to the finals of the BGBF 79th Two-Year Old British Bred Produce Stakes at Swindon and the Steel City Cup at Sheffield.
During the spring and summer Romeo Ability also contested the finals of the Gymcrack and JR Racing Juvenile. Today, following multiple attempts of lifting a Category One prize Romeo Ability can lead round on the rails, kick for home and grab the £10,000 to the winner pot.
Central Park raider King Memphis is a class act and rates as the danger from T3. It’s vital that Romeo Ability traps well and holds the Liz McNair-trained railer into the first bend.

1 pt 17:06 Towcester – Crafty Alejandro (T3) @ SP
The third and final selection from Towcester this afternoon runs in the Orchestrate Sprint open race at 17:06 over the two-bend 270-metre trip. CRAFTY ALEJANDRO makes his competitive Towcester debut last afternoon following runs at Monmore and Romford after moving across the Irish Sea.
If you go back through his card Alejandro has had multiple trials at Towcester including a run beating Ballinakill Liam who recently lined up in the Category Two Arc National Sprint semi-finals at Nottingham. Alejandro has also clocked 16.66 in a solo trial, a repeat of that would see him take this by two or three lengths.
The key, as ever, over the sprint trip is the break and run into the corner, trap well and the Mark Wallis-trained September 2022 son of Pestana can make all and lay down a marker that he’s a serious contender in the sprint division in 2026.
