1 pt 15:32 Towcester – Jet Stream Jane (T2) @ SP
Top-class race action from Towcester this afternoon live on Premier Greyhound Racing. The first selection of the day is well-drawn Oxford raider JET STREAM JANE who lines up from T2 in the Orchestrate Stayers open race at 15.32 over the six-bend 712-metre trip at the Northamptonshire venue, Towcester.
The lightly raced July 2023 daughter of Ballymac Anton impressed last time out on Towcester debut when leading at the sixth bend and powering clear in 43.56. Today, with Innfield Charm (T1) often moderately away from the boxes, Jet Stream Jane has a chance to lead at the rails. If that happens, and she leads off the second bend, it’ll take a good one to back run her.

1 pt 16:09 Towcester – Venetian Will (T1) @ SP
Three heats of the Category One BGBF British Bred Derby take centre stage from 16:09 with two from each heat making it into next Sunday's final. The first heat at 16:09 can go to well-drawn railer VENETIAN WILL in T1. The Kevin Hutton-trained Oxford raider bolted up over course and distance last week, clocking 29.37 following a smart 4.13 sectional. That was his first competitive race at Towcester, and he should come on for that outing.
When based in Ireland, Venetian Will showed nice back straight back pace and stayed on in taking fashion. If he traps level this afternoon, holds his pitch into the corner and leads off the second bend, he will prove hard to beat. As ever in such a competitive race, the key is the break and run into the first bend. Romeo Alliance is a class act and rates as a huge danger from T4. The Patrick Janssens-trained railer has two Category One victories on his card, winning the JR Racing Juvenile over course and distance back in July and that was followed up with success at Nottingham in the Arc Puppy Classic.

1 pt 16:47 Towcester – Keefill Goose (T1) @ SP
The second heat of the BGBF British Bred Derby at 16:28 looks at the mercy of Keefill Rocky in T4. If the Doncaster raider brings his trapping boots, he can lead round and make all. Heat three at 16:47 is a cracker with Keefill Goose, King Memphis, Romeo Steel and Romeo Ability battling it out for the two qualifying spots. Based on a plot drawn on the rail's preference is for the Phil Milner-trained KEEFILL GOOSE from T1.
Blessed with blistering early gears, the July 2022 son of Droopys Addition looks well-drawn to lead round and once on the bunny he’s capable of dipping below 29 seconds over this 500m distance at Towcester which should see him take this. Romeo Steel is in flying form, winning the Category One Steel City Cup and East Anglian Derby in recent months. If he pings the lids along with Goose on the rails, it's race on down the back straight.
