Surprisingly picked up last week over 955m when leading out and going really far clear, but visually didn't stay that extra 200m at full race pace. This drop to 740m looks ideal, and this runner can qualify easily and add to his perfect five from five in open race one races here, so will be tough to beat.
How I see this Ballyregan Bob heat 2 740m race being run:
T1 has been off a couple of weeks in preparation for tonight's race, has been racing over this distance over at Romford with mixed results but always running well, form here not so good in two runs over shorter and will need to improve to get involved tonight, more than likely going to go off the outsider tonight.
T2 very consistent over the 695m trip here and is always there or thereabouts. This competition is a lot deeper form-wise wise and even though this runner may qualify tonight in first three, I can't see this runner winning the entire comp. Racing style suggests she will finish strongly and can come through for a place tonight but won't get near us.
T3 our main danger tonight on last week's win at Romford in a quick time over 750m, two trials here but they weren't that quick over 500m and sometimes dogs/bitches don't run some tracks, had this been raced at Romford I would've fancied this runner more, but here I think we will be too quick for her.
T5 poor draw being this far off the fence, this railer misses the break and stays on strongly, course form here isn't too great, and I see her struggling tonight.
T6 very good draw on the outside, being the sole wide seed, and can use this draw and the fact that there will be trouble on the inner to clear the field at bend number one. I don't think this runner is quick enough but any race with trouble can always throw up a shock result.
So to us in T4, form-wise and class-wise we are the strongest in the race, and the race makeup looks as though we can lead and make all, if we get to the front anytime in this contest we won't be beaten. Very confident of a massive run tonight.

20:24 Hove - Antigua Kestrel (T4) @ SP
Tonight's race distance will be perfect for us as we find six bends a bit too far and a short four bends a bit too short, so this extended four bends (515m) will be perfect and we have a good draw to work from inside our main danger.
How I see this first round heat three of the Coral Olympic being run:
T1 comes here in good form, winning last two races over 500m here, last time particularly impressive pinging the lids and making all recording a good time, not sure to break that quick tonight and his 515m form isn't as great so may struggle against this stronger opposition.
T2 vacant box.
T3 steps back down in trip from 650m for this competition, two runs ago he did win over this track and trip, breaking well, getting outpaced and then staying on to win going away. May not be able to do that tonight and could be held up at crucial points as we will gain first run and if we do I don't think this runner can back run us.
T5 our main danger and to be fair a poor draw for this railer being drawn in T5, we need to be on the ball to out trap this runner to be able to get round bend one in front, form-wise here this runner has raced over course and distance once back in July 2024 so may need this race as hasn't had a trial here since.
T6 very good draw on the outside and if all the inside runners come together then this one may run well at a price, in a clear run contest she won't be quick enough to beat us and others.
So to us in T4, all we need to do is break level and we should have enough early pace to clear the inside, if we do that we like it here and have strong form and we can win this race and win it well. Very confident choice.
