1 pt 12:59 Dunstall Park – Sparta Little (T1) @ SP

Three selections today across Dunstall Park, Monmore and Nottingham a busy day with graded and open race action taking centre stage on Premier Greyhound Racing. At 12.59 one that should go well is the Ian Walker-trained railer SPARTA LITTLE who runs from T4 in the A7 graded race at Dunstall Park.

The August 2023 daughter of Domana Bucko is one from one in the grade and drops back into this company following 10 runs at A6 level. Today, in a race lacking early pace, Sparta Little has a chance to lead round. On the bunny, she’s a 29.30 type of performer, a repeat of that would see her take this by a couple of lengths. Flyhigh Birdseye stays on in taking fashion and rates as the main danger from T1.

1 pt 15:38 Monmore – Noduff Golf (T6) @ SP

Over at the Wolverhampton venue, Monmore, one that caught the eye was well-drawn wide seed NODUFF GOLF who lines up from T6 in the A5 graded race at 15:38 over the four-bend 480-metre trip. A vacant box on his inside in T5 strengthens the hand of Noduff Golf and, with a smart exit from the traps, the Chris Fereday-trained runner will take all the beating.

In an ultra-competitive graded race, the key is the break and run into the corner. It's imperative that Noduff Golf pings the lids and hits the back straight a couple clear. Last time out in A6 company, he made all in 28.98. That's twelve spots quicker than his previous best, with further improvement likely from the April 2024 youngster. He looks a solid play at the forecast prices this afternoon.

1 pt 20:19 Nottingham – Nightingale Crew (T2) @ SP

The Arena Racing Company National Sprint heats take centre stage at Nottingham this evening with class acts like Bockos Buster, 265 metre track record holder Newinn Bachelor and Shadow Storm on show. The selection from the Colwick Park venue is the Craig Morris-trained Yarmouth raider NIGHTINGALE CREW, who runs from T2 in heat three at 20:19.

Since moving over from Ireland, Nightingale Crew has moved well in trials at Nottingham and Towcester and then bolted up over the two-bend 225-metre trip at the London Road venue Romford flying round in 13.33. Tonight, on competitive Nottingham debut the February 2024 youngster can lead round and make all to book his place in the next round of the Category Two competition. Towcester raider Pro Parker is a consistent sprint and four-bend performer and rates as the danger from T4.
