Friday Greyhound Tips: Can Stouke Beyonce be Romford’s Queen Bee?

20:19 Romford - T2 (Underground Fizz) @ SP

This is our first time stepping up to this trip here, we have good/strong form over the 400m trip. I liked the way we have been staying on over the 500m trip at Hove the last twice and it will be crucial we claim the rails and gain first run on T3 this evening.

T1 is very slow into stride and looking at splits alone will relinquish the rails pitch by bend number one. On the back foot from that position and I don't see this runner being involved in tonight's finish.

T3 is a massive danger to us but being drawn inside this runner will be important. 100% will stay as does have form over further. But currently not in the same form as prior to lay off. If we don't break and lead or get held up this runner could take advantage. 

T4 in good form winning two of last three over this trip. They were in graded fair however, not so good when upped to open company last week. Again will struggle to beat both us and Trap 3 as drawn this evening.

T5 will edge middle as drawn. Hove raider has good form at home track. Not so quick here over this trip and again may struggle to get involved tonight as won't have the pace to clear the runners on the inside. That may lead to crowding at first couple of bends.

T6 is drawn very well being the only wide seed and should get an uninterrupted passage on the outside. However not in great form. I don't think will have the sufficient pace to take advantage of this and will be a big price this evening.

So to us in T2, we have the 4 bend pace to quickly lead up T1 and go round in front. If we do lead you will see a different bitch as we won't be held up at all. We have good all round pace and should see out the trip well. I don't see us winning tonight's race by multiple lengths. Solid choice.

20:01 Romford - T1 (Stouke Beyonce) @ SP

This will be our third try over course and distance. A line can be drawn through our first two runs as we have been stopped everywhere in our run and you will see a different bitch this evening with an excellent race make up and a draw closer to the fence.

T2 will probably go off favourite in this contest and does have good early pace. Will probably lead us up for the first lap, but that can mean we get a good tow in behind and can come through late to beat this runner close home. Looking at this one's form I'm not sure she is crying out for this trip and I see at Hove recently weakened on the run in over 500m. Has an extra 75m to go tonight and I feel we will be just too strong.

T3 is another with early pace. This Yarmouth raider may also be trying to get T2's ground early on. These two runners can wear each other out on the lead while we bide our time in behind. Trip wise for this runner there is a big question mark. As to whether she will stay. To me she won't.

T4 has been over this far and also has dipped under 36 seconds which is good. But I still feel we will be three-four lengths off the principals in a clean run contest.

T5 vacant trap 

T6 decent draw out wide and couldn't take much from last week's distance debut with this runner being hampered numerous times. Could be better than recent times but we will just have to wait to see tonight.

So to us in T1, great draw to track the pace in T2 and T3. We had some over extreme distances in Ireland and the race can be set up for us to stay on strongly second lap and pick the leaders up round final two bends. Very confident choice.
