Tuesday Greyhound Tips: Three to follow at Suffolk Downs

Our resident greyhounds tipster, Michael Smyth (bettingjungle on X), casts his eye over Tuesday's meetings across the UK. He is back with three selections and all of them come from Suffolk Downs.

Today's Greyhound Odds

1 pt 18:04 Suffolk Downs – Savana Sprite (T2) @ SP

Three from Suffolk Downs this evening on a decent card featuring nine open races. At 18:04 in the Suffolk Downs Maiden Stayers open race over the six-bend 547 metre trip, SAVANA SPRITE appeals from T2.

The February 2023 daughter of Jaytee Taylor bolted up over four-bends last time out, clocking 24.03 following a 4.72 sectional. Once Savana Sprite hit the front at the third bend, she powered clear and looks the type who will improve again on six-bend debut.

The key to the race is the break and run into the first corner. If Savana Sprite traps well, she can lead round and, once on the bunny, her natural pace will see her skip half a dozen clear of the chasing pack. Table Talk (T3) is a consistent A1 performer at Yarmouth, he rates as the main danger.

Lightly raced Solana Jet (T6) stays on well over four-bends and is an interesting runner this evening. The wide seed could be worth including in forecast bets.

1 pt 18:21 Suffolk Downs – Droopys Mikado (T2) @ SP

Division One of the Suffolk Downs stayers open at 18:21 can go to the Heather Dimmock-trained railer DROOPYS MIKADO from T2. The May 2023 daughter of Droopys Sydney was ultra-impressive last week over course and distance clocking 33.60 following a smart 13.70 sectional.

Tonight, if Mikado brings her trapping boots and leads round again, she will prove very hard to beat. Yarmouth raider Tell On Aimee (T4) is two for two around Suffolk Downs with wins over four and six-bends on her card.

The middle seed would be a huge runner with a level break. Saleen Ace (T6) looks well-drawn as the solo wide seed in the race and is worth noting in the market. A vacant box on his inside strengthens claims, and he could be worth including in forecast bets.

1 pt 19:14 Suffolk Downs – Savana Ribena (T2) @ SP

The third and final selection this evening is SAVANA RIBENA who runs from T2 in Division Two of the Suffolk Down stayers open at 19:14. The Jason Ray-trained railer caught the eye when winning over course and distance on January 13, when clocking 34.65 leading at the sixth bend and powering clear of the chasing pack.

Tonight, if Ribena gets it right at the boxes, she can clear Ballintee Uno (T1) at lid rise and turn in a handy pitch and then hit the front by the fourth bend. Kennelmate Savana Clowns (T3) stays on well and would be a danger to all granted a clear run.

Kilbride Tractor (T5) could be the pace in the race and would be a huge runner if allowed to have a soft lead. Homestead Anna (T6) mixes it over two, four, six and eight-bends. The Michelle Brown-trained wide seed could attract support if priced up at fancy prices.
