1 pt 15:29 Doncaster – Midian Lass (T1) @ SP
Three from Doncaster this afternoon on an ultra-competitive all-graded card with races over two and four-bend distances. At 15:29 in the B5 graded race over the 450-metre trip, MIDIAN LASS looks well-drawn in T1 to lead round and make all. The lightly raced July 2023 daughter of Malachi has mixed it in sprint and B4 company of late before dropping into this grade last time out when finishing third.
Today, it's all eyes on the break. In a race lacking early pace, Midian Lass could get a soft lead on the rails and if that happens, she can skip half a dozen clear down the back straight and prove hard to beat. Fagans Petunia (T2) will be staying on well and can chase the selection home. Posh Scart (T6) is another who will be mounting a challenge off the final bend and could get into the mix granted a clear run.

1 pt 16:07 Doncaster – Splitting Hairs (T6) @ SP
The B3 graded race at 16:07 can go to solo wide seed SPLITTING HAIRS, who looks plotted up out in T6. The Samantha Lapidge-trained March 2023 daughter of Pestana has a four from fifteen record in the grade and, with a smart exit and clear run she can add to that solid strike rate. Splitting Hairs has recently returned to action following a five-week layoff, two course and distance runs would have blown away the cobwebs, and the wide seed should be fully fit now and ready to win.
If Splitting Hairs gets it right at the boxes, she can lead round and kick for home off the second bend. Redbrick Gerrard (T5) will be staying on well and can grab the forecast spot late on. Duggies Flyboy (T1) has a chance if he pings the lids and holds the rails into the first bend.

1 pt 16:26 Doncaster – Ballymac Acres (T6) @ SP
The third and final selection at Doncaster this afternoon is BALLYMAC ACRES, who lines up from T6 in the two-bend D5 graded sprint over the 275-metre distance. The Shaun Birks-trained October 2022 son of Ballymac Wild is better known as a D3 and D4 performer and is sure to appreciate this ease in grade from the Racing Manager. The key now is taking advantage of the drop-in class with a quick-away-made-all success.
As ever over the two-bend distance, it's all eyes on the break. If Ballymac Acres brings his trapping boots, this could be all over the shouting by the first bend. Glens Lucky Dip (T1) is a consistent performer in this company and rates as the danger. Cockney Kent (T2) is worth noting on debut. The 18.30 and 18.02 trials put him into the mix and, with further improvement possible from the July 2024 youngster, he’s one to watch as the market forms as race time approaches.
