1 pt 18:11 Star Pelaw – Blackstone Senna (T4) @ SP
All eyes on Star Pelaw this evening for an ultra-competitive eight-race graded card at the north-east venue. At 18:11 in the A4 graded race over the four-bend 435-metre trip BLACKSTONE SENNA appeals from T4.
The Carol Murray-trained middle seed drops into this company for the first time since October when she bolted up, winning by over four lengths in 25.89. Since then, Senna has run well in open class, A1, A2 and more recently A3 company.
The Racing Manager has given the May 2022 daughter of Ballymac Best an ease in grade this evening, and it’s one she can take advantage of and return to winning ways. The key to the race is the break. Senna needs to trap well and hit the back straight on the bunny.
Do that and this should be all over bar the shouting. Popper Duke (T6) has two impressive course and distance wins on his card in recent weeks; he looks the main danger.
Fagans Peggy (T1) is a consistent performer and could be worth including in forecast bets.

1 pt 18:29 Star Pelaw – Chippy Chase (T1) @ SP
CHIPPY CHASE looks like the one they all have to beat in the A2 graded race from Star Pelaw at 18:29. The May 2022 son of Knocknaboul Syd is seven from ten in the grade and looks well-drawn this evening to win again and add to that impressive strike rate.
The key to the race will be the break and run into the corner. It’s imperative that Chippy Chase holds the rails and kicks for home off the second bend. Dairyhill Suzi rates as the main danger from T2.
The May 2022 daughter of Droopys Sydney mixes it in four and six-bend graded and open class company at Star Pelaw and would be a danger to all granted a clear run. Dunnanelly Dan (T5) shows plenty of early zip in his races and would be a runner this evening with ping break.

1 pt 19:42 Star Pelaw – Trinity Phantom (T4) @ SP
The third and final selection from Star Pelaw is lightly raced TRINITY PHANTOM, who lines up from T4 in the A5 graded race at 19:42 over the four-bend 435-metre distance.
The February 2024 youngster has only run three times to date and has shown plenty of promise. Tonight, in a race lacking early pace, he has a chance to lead round and if that happens, he can make a mockery of this grade and bolt up.
The key will be clearing Twistablindeye (T2) at lid rise. It's vital that Trinity Phantom avoids an early bump and hits the back straight a couple clear of the chasing pack. Hello Me Man (T5) stays on in taking fashion and can chase home the selection and fill the forecast spot.
