1 pt 18:46 Star Pelaw – Cream Biscuit (T5) @ SP
Three from Star Pelaw this evening on a competitive ten race card with action over two, four and six-bend distances. At 18:46 in the six-bend S2 graded race over 590 metres, CREAM BISCUIT looks well-drawn to lead round and make all from T5. The Robert McCarthy-trained wide seed is yet to run over this distance at Star Pelaw, but after watching the videos of his recent four-bend races he goes strong to the drop, so this shouldn’t be an issue, especially if he leads round.
On the bunny, Cream Biscuit can use his natural four-bend pace to kick half a dozen clear then it's catch me if you can. Winter King (T4) is a consistent four and six-bend performer and rates as the danger. Spy Master (T6) won well over course and distance last time week, clocking 36.74 following a smart 14.85 sectional. He would be a huge runner with a level break and clear run.

1 pt 19:42 Star Pelaw – Rearcross Rebel (T5) @ SP
The A5 graded race at 19:42 over the four-bend 435-metre trip looks ultra-competitive with plenty in with chances. The eyes are drawn to wide seed REARCROSS REBEL in T5 who drops into A5 company this evening following recent runs in A3 and A4 grade. On the bunny, Rearcross Rebel is a 26.22 type of performer, a repeat of that would see the Robert McCarthy-trained March 2022 daughter of Deerjet Sydney bolt up this evening.
As ever, the key is the race will be the break and run into the corner. It's imperative that Rearcross Rebel traps well and takes advantage of this drop-in class. Kranky Jackie (T1) stays on well and rates as the danger. He could be worth including in forecast bets if sent off at fancy prices. Knackstar (T3) is capable of a flashy exit and could be the challenger to Rearcross Rebel early on.

1 pt 19:58 Star Pelaw – Tickets Katie (T3) @ SP
At 19:58 look out for debutant TICKETS KATIE who lines up from T3 in the D5 graded sprint race over 245 metres. The Glenn Foot-trained June 2024 daughter of Kilara Icon makes her competitive debut this tonight following two course and distance trials with times recorded at 15.57 and 15.56. Those times read well against tonight’s opposition and, with further improvement likely, she looks a play. Market support should be noted; the money is sharp at Star Pelaw, and it's always interesting if a debutant is well backed.
Levis Favourite (T6) is another making his debut tonight and is worth keeping an eye on in the market. Caseys Jane (T1) makes runs in graded company for the first time at Star Pelaw following a move from Dunstall Park. The railer has run twice in open class action at the north-east venue but finished well beaten on both occasions. This represents a huge drop-in class and is another in with a shout in a competitive race.
