1 pt 18:11 Star Pelaw – Baby Cupcakes (T1) @ SP
All eyes on Star Pelaw this evening for an ultra-competitive graded card. At 18:11 look out for well-drawn railer BABY CUPCAKES, who lines up from T1. Trap two is vacant and Rearcross Rebel in T3 keeps middle, then we have three wide seeds in traps four, five and six. Baby Cupcakes has mixed it in decent company in recent weeks with runs in A1 graded at Dunstall Park, plus open race action at Star Pelaw.
This looks a very winnable A3 graded race and one that Baby Cupcakes is more than capable of landing. The key is the break. The May 2023 daughter of Ballymac Bolger needs to trap well and take advantage of this excellent draw. Rearcross Rebel (T3) and Haywards Ava (T4) both show early pace but could hamper each other and leave a gap on the rails for the selection down the back straight.

1 pt 18:46 Star Pelaw – Caseys Tip Off (T2) @ SP
The D4 graded sprint over the two-bend 245-metre trip can go to CASEYS TIP OFF from T2. The February 2022 son of Ballymac Best has won two of his last three over course and distance and looks well-drawn to win again this evening. All eyes on the break. If Caseys Tip Off traps in best fashion and leads round, she will prove hard to peg back. Syds Lad (T1) will be staying on well and rates as the danger.
The strong staying railer could also be worth including in forecast bets. The Old Ole Tale (T5) is a consistent course and distance performer. The middle seed chased home the selection recently when beaten a neck in a photo finish, he’s likely to prove popular from what looks like a nice draw with traps four and six not the quickest into stride.

1 pt 19:24 Star Pelaw – Hexel Mason (T1) @ SP
The third and final selection at Star Pelaw this evening is well-drawn railer HEXEL MASON, who lines up from T1 in the A5 graded race at 19:24 over the four-bend 435-metre trip at the northeast venue. Hexel Mason stays this trip strong and also has form over the six-bend 590-metre trip. The race make-up appeals this evening with Caseys Jake (T2) likely to lead round but that rival struggles to see out the trip and often moves off at the second bend.
If that happens again this evening, Hexel Mason will have the rails to herself and granted a clear run at the third bend, she can hit the front and power clear to victory. Glenbowen Mabel (T4) is capable of winning this from the front or, if turning handy, the middle seed rates as a huge danger. John The Joiner (T5) is well-drawn as the solo wide in the race and is worth noting in the market.
