Sunday Greyhound Tips: Blissful run expected at Oxford

Below are the Sunday Greyhound Tips, alongside an explanation of the three picks.

1 pt 15:29 Oxford – Newinn Bliss (T4) @ SP

Three selections from Oxford this afternoon on an ultra-competitive card featuring seven open races.

At 15:29 in the BetGoodwin Oxford Ladies open race over the four-bend 450 metre trip, NEWINN BLISS looks well-drawn in T4 to lead round and make all.

In recent weeks, the Angie Kibble-trained Swindon raider has been caught late on by Eagles Respect in a course and distance trial and last week in an open race. The October 2022 daughter of Newinn Session will be glad to see the back of that rival and this looks a much more winnable race. All eyes on the break.

If Newinn Bliss brings her trapping boots and gets a clear run into the corner, this could be all over bar the shouting down the back straight. Alright Twinkle (T5) can show nice early pace in her races and could be the main challenger into the corner. Easy Molly (T6) is a class act on a going day and is worth noting in the market.

1 pt 16:26 Oxford – Eagles Respect (T3) @ SP

At 16:26 over the six-bend 650-metre trip in the BetGoodwin Oxford Stayers open race, look out for EAGLES RESPECT who lines up from T3.

The Angie Kibble-trained railer is a class act as he showed back in September when winning Category One Two-Year-Old British Bred Produce Stakes at Swindon. Since then, Eagles Respect has mixed it over four and six-bends with wins at Oxford and his home track of Swindon on his card.

Today, back over the six bend 650-metre distance at Oxford, it’s all eyes on the break. If Eagles Respect pops out and leads round, he’s capable of clocking around the 38.85 mark, a repeat of that would see him bolt up this afternoon. Alright Patricia (T6) is a strong stayer who mixes it over six and eight-bends. She could be the one to chase home Eagles Respect and fill the forecast spot.

1 pt 16:44 Oxford – Outa The Clouds (T2) @ SP

A little later on in Division Two of the BetGoodwin Oxford Standard open race at 16:44 the eyes are drawn to the Michael Burton-trained railer OUTA THE CLOUDS who runs from T2.

The March 2024 son of Droopys Flytime is blessed with blistering early pace, if he gets it right at the boxes this afternoon, he can be a couple clear at the first bend and half a dozen clear of the chasing pack by the third.

On the bunny, Outa The Clouds is a sub-27 second performer over this 450-meter trip with his fastest recent time clocked at 26.62, a repeat of that would make him very hard to beat. Sister Lizzie (T3) won well over course and distance last week, clocking 27.17.

She’s an improving type but has over six lengths to find on the clock against the selection. Doc Susie (T4) is another potential improver and looks a nice type from the Kevin Hutton kennel.
