Monday Greyhound Tips: Telex Empress looks to rule over Donny

Profit last night with Tromora Zara getting up on the line at 6/1. Later on Oceans Blue showed plenty of pace again and remains in the notebook. Today, we head to Doncaster with three selections on an ultra-competitive card. At 14:52 lightly raced railer SKIDROW NELL appeals from T2 in the D4 graded race over the two-bend 275-metre trip. On February 2, the July 2024 daughter of Here Comes Syd bolted up in D5 company, clocking 17.60 when making all.

Since then, the Abbie Steel-trained performer met plenty of early trouble and a line can be put through that run. All eyes on the break here. If Skidrow Nell gets it right at the boxes, she can lead round, grab the rails and kick a couple clear of the chasing pack. Kennelmate Skidrow Sue rates as a danger from T6. Razldazl Ella (T1) stays on well and could be worth including in forecast bets.

1 pt 15:29 Doncaster – On The Wall (T5) @ SP

The A1 graded race at 15:29 can go to the James Gaskin-trained wide seed ON THE WALL from T5. On The Wall returned to action last week following a layoff from mid-November. Fitness wasn’t an issue as the January 2024 son of Airmount Nando ran out an impressive three-quarter length winner in 29.60. The key to this race is clearing Ivy Hill Stella (T3) at lid rise.

It's imperative that On The Wall leads round and kicks for home down the back straight. Rapido Treat (T4) and Foxwood Carter (T6) will both be staying on well, and they can fight it out for the forecast spot behind the selection. Corporal Jack could attract support from T2. A vacant box on his inside strengthens claims, and he’s worth noting in the market.

1 pt 16:07 Doncaster – Telex Empress (T5) @ SP

The third and final selection at Doncaster this afternoon is the Susan Watson-trained March 2024 daughter of Pestana, TELEX EMPRESS. Two recent runs over course and distance would have blown away the cobwebs following a spell off the track due to season. Prior to season, Telex Empress was clocking around the 28.60–28.70 mark, and she’s only a length or two away from those runs and getting fitter with each outing.

Today, it's all eyes on the break and run into the first bend. Trap well and Telex Empress can turn with the pace and lead out of the second bend. If she hits the front, she will prove hard to beat. Ice Got You Babe (T4) is a solid B5 and B6 performer and would be a danger to all with a smart exit from the boxes. Four-bend debutant Grouchos Links (T1) is worth noting in the market. The August 2024 youngster moved well in a recent c&d trial, clocking 28.83 and, with further improvement likely, she could go close this afternoon.
