1 pt 15:22 Suffolk Downs – Capel Razor (T6) @ SP

Three selections from Suffolk Downs this afternoon on a competitive card that features action over two- four- and six-bends. At 15:22 in the S3 graded race over the six-bend 548 metre trip, solo wide seed CAPEL RAZOR looks well-drawn to turn handy and, if that happens, it's race on. The Robert Emery-trained July 2022 daughter of Broadstrand Bono mixes over a variety of trips with a win on her card recently over this course and distance.

Cabriol Maggie (T3) looks the likely leader but if Capel Razor turns within a couple of lengths, she can make her move and hit the front by the fifth bend and power clear of the chasing pack. Roseville Chic (T4) is lightly raced and worth noting in the market. The money is sharp at Suffolk Downs; significant support would hint a big run is expected on six-bend debut this afternoon.

At 16:18 look out for MIA JEZABELLE who is going for four on the bounce around Suffolk Downs. In recent weeks, the early-paced railer has won twice over this six-bend 548-meter trip and once over the four-bend 388-metre distance, when winning from off the pace.

This afternoon, it’s all eyes on the break. If Mia Jezabelle traps in best fashion and leads round, she's a 34.27 type of performer, a repeat of that would make her very hard to beat. Savana Memories (T5) bolted up over course and distance last week, clocking 34.66, winning by eight lengths. He rates as a danger, especially with a ping break. Savana Clowns (T4) stays on well over this distance, she's worth including in forecast bets if sent off at fancy prices.

1 pt 17:14 Suffolk Downs – Savana Bono (T5) @ SP

The third and final selection today is the Jason Ray-trained wide seed SAVANA BONO who runs from T5 in the A4 graded race at 17:14 over the four-bend 388-metre trip. The early pace in the race is on the rails with Gypsies Kiss (T1) and Browns Swifties (T2) likely to battle it out around the first couple of bends. That could set the race up for a deep closer with all eyes on Savana Bono who will be flying down the back straight looking to hit the front off the final bend.

Granted a clear run, Bono can swoop to victory and add to her impressive three from six record in the grade. Canya Queue (T6) would be a danger with a smart exit. The former Yarmouth-based wide seed bolted up in an open race over course and distance back in November, clocking 24.01. If he brings his trapping boots he could go close this afternoon. Malbay Thor (T4) is one from one in the grade and drops back into A4 following five runs in A3 company. He will appreciate this drop-in class and is another in with a shout in an ultra-competitive race.
