1 pt 18:29 Star Pelaw – Glenbowen Mabel (T5) @ SP
All eyes on Star Pelaw this evening with five open races taking place at the north-east venue. At 18:29 look out for the Matthew Watson-trained middle seed GLENBOWEN MABEL, who lines up from T5. The January 2024 daughter of Grangeview Ten has kept good company of late over the four-bend 435-metre trip and now drops back in distance.
Tonight, Glenbowen Mabel runs over the two-bend 245-metre trip and looks well-drawn to lead round and make all. When Mabel gets it right at the boxes, she's a 15.07 type of performer over this course and distance, a repeat of that would make her hard to beat.
Violets Girl rates as the danger from T2. The April 2024 youngster is lightly raced since moving over from Clonmel and is worth noting in the market this evening.

1 pt 19:04 Star Pelaw – Toonrlee (T6) @ SP
The A4 graded race at 19:04 over the four-bend 435-metre trip can go to well-drawn wide seed TOONRLEE, who runs from T6.
The David Wilkinson-trained July 2023 son of Ballymac Wild is a class act when he gets it right at the boxes as he showed back in late 2024 when leading at halfway to land an open race over course and distance.
Lightly raced this calendar year, Toonrlee should be hitting peak fitness now following three runs over this trip in as many weeks. If Toonrlee traps well and avoids an early bump, he can turn with the pace and hit the front by the third bend and power clear.
Fruity Dancer rates as the danger from T1. Monodie Mike (T5) will be staying on well and could be worth including in forecast bets if sent off at fancy prices.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
1 pt 20:34 Star Pelaw – Swift Yawn (T4) @ SP
The third and final selection from Star Pelaw this evening is SWIFT YAWN, who runs from T4 in the S2 graded race at 20:34 over the six-bend 590-metre trip. Last time out, middle seed Swift Yawn pinged the lids and make all clocking 36.59 following a smart 14.66 sectional.
If the April 2023 daughter of Serene Ace brings her trapping boots again this evening, she can lead round, and then it's catch me if you can. Tot Trippett (T6) is worth noting in the market.
Last week, over four-bends Tot Trippett led on the run in and stayed on strong to the drop. Tonight, back over six-bends for the first time since August 2024, the wide seed will be looking to pop out, challenge early and lead by halfway. Bogger Dewie (T2) looks well-drawn with a vacant box on her inside, and she’s worth including in forecast bets.
