Greyhound Betting Tips - Sunday, February 15
1 pt 18:11 Star Pelaw – Tromora Zara (T4) @ SP
At 18:11 look out for TROMORA ZARA who lines up from T4 in the D4 graded race over the two-bend 245 metre trip.
The David Curry-trained middle seed looks well-drawn to turn handy and, if that happens, it's race on. The November 2022 daughter of Magical Bale is better known as a four-bend performer but has recently returned to action and has run three times over this two-bend 245-metre trip at Star Pelaw.
Those runs would have blown away the cobwebs, and she should be spot on now and look a major player this evening.
Mid Tipp Franky (T5) bolted up over course and distance last week, clocking 14.92. The wide seed would be a danger to all with a level break. Franklins Pace (T1) will be staying on well and could be worth including in forecast bets.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
1 pt 18:46 Star Pelaw – Cornerstone (T1) @ SP
The A3 graded race at 18:46 over the four-bend 435-metre distance can go to well-drawn railer CORNERSTONE, in T1.
The Stuart Tighe-trained May 2024 youngster has won three on the bounce in recent weeks with a 15.07 victory over two-bends followed by two impressive runs over this trip with five length and two length victories recorded in 26.29 and 26.20.
The lightly raced daughter of Ballymac Cashout will still be improving, and she looks the type to go through the grades in the coming weeks. Tonight, it's all eyes on the break. Trap well, hold the rails, and this could be all over bar the shouting down the back straight.
Monodie Mike rates as the danger from T6. The wide seed moved over from Ireland this time last year and has clearly had issues with just a handful of runs since. If Mike brings his trapping boots, he’s more than capable of taking a race like this.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
1 pt 19:58 Star Pelaw – Oceans Blue (T2) @ SP
The third and final selection at Star Pelaw this evening is lightly raced railer OCEANS BLUE who runs from T2 in the A6 graded race at 19:58.
Last time out, the January 2024 daughter of Ballymac Bolger caught my eye showing nice pace into the corner and down the back straight following a moderate exit from the boxes. Tonight, if Oceans Blue gets it right at lid rise, she can lead round and make all.
The last time she hit the back straight on the bunny, she went onto clock 26.47, a repeat of that would see her go close this evening.
Kranky Jackie will be staying on well from T1 and could be worth including in forecast bets. Catunda Leo (T4) is worth noting in the market following an impressive five length victory in D3 sprint company last time out.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
